DANNY Shittu heaped praise on Karleigh Osborne after the defender was recalled to the Millwall side to face Aston Villa.

Osborne was a surprise inclusion in Kenny Jackett's starting line-up for the FA Cup fourth round tie but he played a pivotal role in the Lions' 2-1 victory.

And fellow centre-back Shittu said he was delighted to see the 24-year-old rise to the challenge and also hailed the performance of Mark Beevers, who switched to left-back.

"Karleigh was amazing," said Shittu. "When you have not played for a while and you come into the side, you can looked fatigued or you can be unsure about certain things.

"He must have been very nervous but he fitted in really well – and Beevs put in a good performance at left-back, which I'm sure he was a bit worried about.

"It must have been nerve-racking to come into the team against a Premier League side. I am really, really happy for Karleigh. But the whole back four, not just us centre-backs, helped each other."

I don't know where this idea of plastic bottles comes from, probably the press. I sit opposite and all what was thrown was plastic cups which looked like full of water !!

It was plastic bottles mate and at Millwall's prices I doubt if it was beer they were full of! If they want to find the culprits I'm sure they've got DNA evidence if you get my drift!

Your going to be surprised, I was sat in block 17 and saw a number of beer bottles and coke bottles thrown which were full. I hope they find the idiots who done it

Lowry back and Ozzy on the bench looks good in defence, he can also play RB so maybe that's covered as well.
