TOTTENHAM technical co-ordinator Tim Sherwood says the Premier League club are yet to make a decision on the future of Millwall loanee Adam Smith.

Smith, who has made 16 appearances for the Lions since arriving at The Den in September, is due to return to his parent club at the end of January.

Boss Kenny Jackett is in discussions with Spurs about keeping the England U21 star until the end of the season, but is understood to face competition from several Premier League clubs.

But Sherwood told NewsAtDen: "We haven't decided what we're going to do with Adam yet. He has been doing well so we are happy accutane with the progress he has made.

"We have not discussed what is going to happen in the long term, but we still see him as part of our plans. He either stays at Millwall, goes somewhere else on loan or he comes back to Spurs.

"Those are the three options. But we're happy with the way Kenny has dealt with him and the way he has been treated at Millwall – our young players always benefit from playing games.

"It has been a good loan for him. Ultimately, we want him to be a Premier League footballer so we'll do what is best to put him in that position."

Sounds to me that Adam smith will be joining a premier club on loan, or returning to spurs, the way i read it he will not be stopping at the Den.

Maybe leicester have ideas to swoop in and nick him, but i hope he stays at Millwall, he has been developing as a decent young player for us but i guess we shall have to wait and see.

I doubt they will sell him. He is not the finished article yet. It looks like they want to loan him out to a Premier League club

Sherwood is such a mug! Smith has been good for us and i hope he stays but every time we loan someone from Spurs Sherwood comes out with (from a wall point of view) negitive comments.... I honestly dont see Smith getting in to any Prem first team at the moment so he may as well see out the season with us since he's playing every game and doing well!

Sherwood that old chestnut, what you mean is we're doing to well the powers above a, scares them to much were to close for comfort hence Wood gone, now Hendo and now Smith in doubt, we need to scare them more and get another run together, then watch the shoddy officials kick in.

Sherwood sounding like Clarke of West Brom!?
Make a bid or release him end of the month. The vultures will be circling soon enough ala Leicester etc. Millwall don't need more f#*king about by 'Big Bully Boy' clubs.

obviously like your web site but you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to tell the truth nevertheless I will definitely come back again.
