MILLWALL are set to sign Derby County striker Nathan Tyson on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old will put pen-to-paper on the temporary switch on Thursday morning with a view to going straight into the Lions' squad for their home match against Burnley on Saturday.
Tyson has scored five goals in 17 appearances for the Rams this campaign but is on the fringes of Nigel Clough's squad.
Clough said: "At Nathan's age, he doesn't want to be sitting on the bench week after week and we understand that.
"We have Jamie Ward, Conor Sammon, Theo Robinson, Michael Jacobs and Mason Bennett all vying for a spot in attack, so Nathan would've continued to have limited chances to start.
"We feel this is a good chance for him to go and play regularly for the rest of the season."
Tyson, who is eligible to play in the FA Cup, has been on manager Kenny Jackett's radar for the past two years and held talks with Millwall following his exit from Nottingham Forest in June 2011.
