KENNY Jackett insists there will be no let up for Millwall this weekend as they take a break from their Championship campaign to host Preston North End in the FA Cup.

The Lions returned to winning ways in the league against Bristol City on Tuesday and moved level on points with sixth-placed Watford in the process.

But their play-off push will be put on hold when the Lillywhites arrive at The Den for the third round tie on Saturday and Jackett is keen for his side to do well in the competition.

"We're looking forward to it and we certainly won't be underestimating Preston," he said. "It will be a hard game for us but we do want to progress.

"The carrot for us is getting one of the big teams in the next round if we win. That's our aim and objective. There is an opportunity for both clubs to get a big tie.

"I haven't been fortunate enough to get one of those during my time here or a cup run. Hopefully after the Preston game we'll go back into the league in a good position."
