KENNY Jackett has called on Dany N'Guessan to establish himself as a Millwall regular after scoring his first goal of the season against Bristol City.

N'Guessan opened the scoring for the Lions in their 2-1 victory over the Robins on New Year's Day with an impressive run and shot into the far corner.

And Jackett says the Frenchman must build on his performance and continue to make an impact in the coming weeks. He said: "Dany made a major contribution against Bristol City.

"He has showed during his time with us that he is able to make the conversion from a wide man to being able to play up front. That's what he wants to do.

"At times, he's been inexperienced with his back to goal. But we feel he's improved and he has had quite a run of games now, either as a substitute or starting.

"His next challenge is to really nail down a first team place where he is playing most of the time. If he can do that, he'll be an addition for us.

"He has the strength and he has the power to be a handful. He can go either way as well – he can strike a ball with his left foot or his right foot."

A goal's a goal. If he scores 3 tomorrow, will you say it;s only Preston?
