SCOTT Malone has been ruled out of Millwall's New Year's Day clash against Bristol City with a back injury.
Malone was forced off early in the first-half against Cardiff last Saturday and his absence could pave the way for Liam Feeney to return to the starting line-up.
The Lions are also without the services of Chris Taylor and Andy Keogh. Taylor is unlikely to return from a knee injury until February but Keogh could be fit to face Preston in the FA Cup this weekend.
With a trio of players missing, manager Kenny Jackett has decided to include youngsters Conor Wilkinson and Aiden O'Brien in his squad.
Bristol City have no new injury concerns ahead of their trip to South London. Paul Anderson and Sam Baldock are set to retain their starting positions after impressive displays in a 4-2 victory over Peterborough.
Club captain Liam Fontaine is likely to miss out, but defenders Louis Carey and Danny Wilson are both pushing for recalls to the squad after hamstring injuries.
Former Lions target Ryan Taylor could be in line for a return to the substitute's bench.
