KENNY Jackett refused to criticise Darius Henderson after the striker's penalty miss in the first-half of Millwall's 2-1 defeat to Barnsley.

Henderson won and took the 23rd-minute spot-kick after going down under the challenge of Scott Wiseman inside the area – but blasted his effort high and wide.

Liam Trotter, who is the Lions' designated penalty-taker, was clearly frustrated that Henderson took the responsibility upon himself to score from 12 yards.

But Jackett said: "I didn't really see what happened. Generally, Liam is our penalty-taker. But centre forwards want to score goals and you can't have a go at people that put themselves up to score.

"Obviously when they don't, it's more disappointing. If he scores artsandhealth.ie/amoxicillin/ then we're all fine – there's nothing to talk about. It wasn't the best of decisions but I will always back somebody that steps forward."

Tykes manager Keith Hill felt Henderson's miss was justice for a poor decision by referee Trevor Kettle. He said: "It wasn't a penalty. I believe that he's made the wrong decision.

"There was no contact. It's difficult for me to see and I haven't seen the replay yet – but I've been assured there's no contact.

"The referee was looking for help from his linesman but he didn't get it. The linesman didn't make the decision. Can the referee really give it if he's not 100 per cent certain?"

Darius your pen record is not good and maybe you wanted to try and put it right but you should have stayed professional and left it to Trotter who is calm and has a good eye from the spot and who has not missed yet.
