MILLWALL striker Darius Henderson has been summonsed to appear in court to answer an allegation of GBH.
The Lions hitman was arrested on New Year's Day on suspicion of assault following an incident at a Hertfordshire restaurant.
Henderson will now appear at St. Albans Magistrates at a fixed future date as the Crown Prosecution Service begin legal proceedings against him.
"A 30-year-old man from Markyate has been summonsed to appear in court," a spokesperson for Hertfordshire police confirmed.
Henderson, 30, was arrested during the early hours of New Year's Day after a diner was punched in the face at Darcys restaurant in St. Albans.
