Arsenal loanee revels in 'special' Millwall atmosphere

BOLTON winger Ryo Miyaichi hailed Millwall's 'special atmosphere' after scoring his first goal in English football at The Den.

The Arsenal loanee was making his full debut for the Trotters in Saturday's FA Cup fifth round tie, and took just four minutes to open his account for the Premier League strugglers.

And soon-to-be Japanese international Miyaichi shrugged off being hit by a plastic bottle thrown from the crowd in the aftermath of his opener, which set Bolton on their way to a 2-0 victory.

Indeed, the 19-year-old seemingly welcomed his baptism of fire in SE16.

"The crowd made a special atmosphere," he said. "It was my first real experience of it and it was amazing.

"Just after I scored someone threw a plastic bottle and hit me, but my team-mates came over to celebrate with me. It was an unbelievable moment."
