MIDFIELDER Liam Trotter insists Millwall will not be fazed by moneybags Leicester City on Saturday – and that they will continue to cope without Darius Henderson.

The fifth-placed Foxes spent close to £3million on new players last summer but Trotter does not believe their financial clout will have any bearing on the pitch.

"Leicester are very strong in depth and have spent millions upon millions in the last few years," he said. "They spent £5million on one player [Matt Mills] in 2011 and now he's been sold.

"That shows you the kind of money they’ve been throwing about. They’ve got a strong team, but I don’t think any team in this league is too strong for us."

Millwall have scored just one goal in their v health portal last three matches, drawing blanks against Charlton and Ipswich Town in recent weeks, but Trotter does not believe Henderson's absence has been a factor.

The striker is not expected to return to action until late December after suffering a setback in his recovery from a hamstring strain.

"In the time Darius has been out we have won a fair few games," Trotter said. "We won away at Wolves and Blackburn – it's about the team and not one player.

"We want Darius to be back as soon as possible because he is an asset to us, but right now we've got Chris Wood and Andy Keogh who have scored goals in the past few weeks.

"He's not the be all and end all of whether we score goals."
