Millwall loan watch: Tough weekend for youngsters

JAMIE Philpot’s Woking are up to third place in the National League after their 1-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.

Philpot sent a header just wide before the break but couldn’t score for the fourth successive game as Regan Charles-Cook’s winner 12 minutes from time earned Woking the points.

Sid Nelson was back at former club Newport at the weekend but his current club Yeovil lost 2-0 in Wales to drop to 20th in League Two.

James Brown played 58 minutes for Carlisle as they lost 1-0 at home to Exeter, who went top of the table.

Striker Harry Smith was an unused substitute in Swindon’s 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham. The Robins are 11th on 19 points, five points ahead of Carlisle.
