Report: Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 Millwall

MIGUEL Llera scored a last-minute winner to deny Millwall a share of the spoils in a frantic Championship clash at Hillsborough.

The Lions looked to be on course for all three points after goals from James Henry and Liam Trotter had given them a 2-1 lead at half-time, but Llera scored twice after the break to complete a dramatic turnaround and secure victory for the Owls.

Kenny Jackett kept faith with the same matchday 18 that he selected at Peterborough in midweek but saw his side fall behind in the 19th minute.

Pacey winger Jermaine Johnson drifted in from the left wing and, as Lions centre-back Karleigh Osborne backed off, took aim from 20 yards and blasted a ferocious drive beyond Maik Taylor.

But Millwall levelled when Andy Keogh picked out Henry inside the penalty area, whose curling first-time finish drifted over the stranded Chris Kirkland in the home goal.

And with the momentum suddenly behind them, the Lions added a second before the break. Henry turned provider to pick out the surging run of Trotter and the midfielder took his teammate's pass in his stride before dinking home.

Wednesday had a strong shout for a penalty turned down shortly after the restart when Shane Lowry appeared to pull on the shirt of Barcelona loanee Rodri, whose audacious volley moments later flashed narrowly wide.

Substitute Chris O'Grady was twice denied in quick succesion by stopper Taylor following his introduction from the bench, but the Owls deservedly drew level in the 68th minute.

O'Grady's first-time shot from the edge of the area came back off the woodwork but former Charlton defender Llera was on hand to bundle in the rebound at the back post after a messy goalmouth scramble.

And after Rodi had gone close with an improvised flick, Wednesday grabbed a dramatic winner when Llera poked home again after Millwall failed to clear a free-kick.
