BOLTON Wanderers have confirmed they have signed Chris Taylor on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers.
Taylor joins Bolton, who were relegated from the Championship last season, on a two-year deal and links up with former Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson.
Millwall were interested in signing 29-year-old Taylor on a permanent deal after he played 13 times and scored three goals on loan with the Lions last season.
But Taylor, who was born in Oldham, has decided to remain in the north of England as Bolton begin preparations for their League One campaign after their transfer embargo was lifted by the Football League.
After missing out on Taylor, Millwall boss Neil Harris moved quickly in June to strengthen his squad with the acquisitions of wingers David Worrall and Gregg Wylde from Southend and Plymouth, respectively.
