JAMIE Philpot and Kyron Farrell have signed new contracts with Millwall.
Philpot, who scored on his senior debut against Wolves on the last day of the 2014-15 season, has committed his future to the club until the summer of 2018. Farrell, an 18-year-old midfielder who has been prominent for the U21s this season, has signed a one-year deal.
Striker Philpot (above) has made six first-team appearances this season, setting up Steve Morison’s winner against Fleetwood after coming on as a half-time substitute for the injured Lee Gregory.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Philpot, 19, said: "It's nice to put pen to paper and secure my future with Millwall for another two years. I love playing for this club and I am glad that the manager has shown faith in me so far in my career.
"I've got to repay him for his belief by continuing my progress and trying to make the most of any opportunities that I get in the first team next season and beyond."
Meanwhile, Farrell is determined to figure in Neil Harris’ plans next season. "I've been in and around the senior squad a lot this season, especially in recent weeks and my aim is to try and get some minutes with the first team next season.
"I have really enjoyed working with a great set of coaching staff who have helped to improve me as a player. Hopefully I can continue to get better playing for Millwall."
