ANDY Frampton has left Millwall for “family reasons”.

The former Lions defender returned to the club he played for between 2007 and 2011 last June, initially joining as a development coach. Neil Harris brought his former teammate into the first-team coaching set-up on a full-time basis in September.

Justin Skinner, the Lions U21 manager, travelled as part of boss Harris’ management team as Millwall won at Walsall and Rochdale in their last two league games.

“Andy Frampton has left us for family reasons,” Harris explained. “It’s a real shame because he was really good for us. We’ll have to see if we revisit that in the summer, but he’s gone to spend time with his family.

“Justin has just taken over some of Framps’ duties. He’s been travelling with us to games and he gives us another pair of eyes and ears and a little bit of experience as well.”
