MILLWALL boss Neil Harris will be forced into a defensive reshuffle for this Saturday’s crucial Sky Bet League One clash with Walsall.
Centre-back Mark Beevers will be suspended for the trip to the Bescott Stadium after he was sent off in Millwall’s 1-0 win over Oxford United on Tuesday night.
Shaun Cummings went off injured in the 68th minute with Joe Martin (above) coming on and playing as a centre-back alongside Byron Webster as the Lions fell just short of rescuing the tie.
Jed Wallace finished the game at right-back, but Harris won’t want to remove one of his most creative players from his attack should Cummings miss out.
Harris has the option of playing Martin and Webster in the centre of defence with Sid Nelson coming in on the right side of the back four or Jimmy Abdou dropping back from midfield.
Mahlon Romeo has featured impressively in the position for the U21s this season, but Harris is unlikely to give him his competitive first-team debut in such a pressure fixture.
Carlos Edwards is also back in training but probably won't be risked.
