NEIL Harris says that Jed Wallace has given his Millwall squad a “competitive edge” as the club confirmed they have extended the winger's loan deal.
Wallace, 21, joined Millwall at the beginning of January from Wolves and will remain with the Lions until at least the Sky Bet League One clash with Shrewsbury on April 9.
Harris held talks with Kenny Jackett last week when the Wolves boss gave the go-ahead for the new agreement.
“Kenny treats his players a bit like I do,” Harris explained. “He wants them to be happy, first and foremost, and wants them playing football.
“Jed’s not played a lot of minutes for them but he’s been getting game time with us and he’s improving with every performance.
“I think they can see he’s in a good place with us. He’s certainly enjoying himself and he’s made a really good impression here.
“He gives us a real end product. He adds that competitive edge to the squad and personality to the group. He’s been important for us.”
