MILLWALL are set to sign Jed Wallace from Wolves on a one-month loan deal, NewsAtDen understands.
Wallace, 21, has played seven times for Kenny Jackett’s side this season after joining Wolves on a three-year deal from Portsmouth last summer.
Neil Harris told NewsAtDen this week that he is looking to bolster his squad by adding an attacking player this month and, with 17 goals in 50 appearances for Pompey last season, Wallace (pictured, above, playing for his former club) appears to fit the bill.
Wallace, a former England U19 international, is right-footed and can play on either wing.
He has struggled with injury this season but Jackett rates him highly, telling the Express & Star in October: “He’s shown potential and bits and pieces, you can see he has the pace and the touch and now it’s about settling down and going on to be a very good player.”
Millwall have already signed George Saville on loan from Wolves this season and now Harris looks set to return to the club and his former boss to secure a deal for Wallace.
The midfielder could be available for this Saturday’s trip to Oldham.
