Total paid by Millwall to agents decreases in last year

MILLWALL paid £297,850 to football agents in the last year, according to figures released by the Football League.

The total is the second highest in League One, but dwarfed by the £1,461,088 shelled out by Wigan Athletic, almost half of the combined total of all 24 clubs.

Between October 1 2014 and September 30 2015, the information reveals Bury paid nothing to agents, while Rochdale paid out £4,880, Port Vale just £7,000 and Millwall’s opponents on Tuesday night Burton Albion paid £11,581.

The amount paid out by Millwall in the last year is a 21 per cent decrease on the previous year’s figures (July 1 2013-June 30 2014).
