MILLWALL defender Scott Barron is on the verge of signing for League One side Brentford.
The Hounslow Chronicle states a deal has been agreed for the 26-year-old, who was last week linked with a move to Coventry City.
The two clubs have since confirmed that Barron will complete the switch to Griffin Park subject to a medical.
It is not yet known whether the Bees will pay a fee for the left-back's services, although Lions chief executive Andy Ambler admitted last week that Barron would be allowed to leave The Den.
"Scott is a valued member of our squad and has been here for five years," he told the South London Press.
"If he was going to get a longer contract then we are willing to give, we might not stand in his way."
