I'm disappointed the home form continues. I left the den asking how poor does a player need tone for Harris to drop. Morrison has full games doesn't score for last few and still gets starts why. Fred looked totally lazy to track back and win a ball and as for going forward teams have worked him out I trick pony but will improve in time. Tony Craig a very quiet captain to slow for left back and should have gone off not beavers bad managerial decisions Paris Cohen hall must be given games. It's only one game. We can bounce back. But only if Harris picks and plays the right team next game around. Obrien drops to deep needs to stay upfront he needs to play one position. Southend was poor a game we could of won.

Morison, although he hasnt scored many has still been our best forward overall this season, he talks a lot to the youngsters and does help create things, ive seen every game this season and he is definately not one who deserves to be dropped. You are right about Fred and craig. Both need a rest. As for obrien, that's his job mate, he is supposed to be a forward/attacking midfielder who comes deep to help link up play, he said so himself on lions live the other night. Poor performance overall from the boys yesterday.

@82wall: Morrison is good in the air and holds the ball upwell but for me but didn't look a threat. Obrien showed what he could do in and around the box why not play him there. It's not all doom and gloom like some would suggest. I just left feeling. That was a game we was capable of winning if we had eleven players on the pitch all trying. Why when we play away do we play the ball on the ground as I've seen all season. BUT when we play at the den its long ball s***. It baffles me. There are many more gamesto go but there was very little quality yesterday. We can't win them all I know. But at least try and some players clearly didn't

I know what you mean, as a team we looked toothless yesterday there was no quality, our crossing was awful, and we didn't create a lot. I did honestly think though that Morison did ok. I agree with you about the style of play, we seem to panic at home and try to get the ball forward too quickly at times, but away, we take our time, pass and move and look a much better side. I really believe that it's a mental block the players have. Harris has started getting the players to the den at 11am on a match day, they then leave on a coach together and come back about half 1. That can only be to re create the feel of an away game. Which is not good. We really need to go 1 up at home because soon as we go behind, it's game over and the away team just take the p***. We must remember though this is a learning season for everyone involved, and we should expect to be around mid table(where we are right now) by the end of the season.

@82wall: well let's see what happens Saturday. And see what Harris and our team have learned after this performance I would like to see pch instead of Fred for me and tc rested and Ferguson on at left back. But I'm sure it will be wholesale changes. Instead of dropping the poor performers avoiding the bigger picture.

it is not a mental block it is an ability and technical thing - At Home we have to force the game and we simply haven't got players who can do that . No midfielder who can get in dangerous scoring positions - Too one-dimensional . For all the talk about Port Vale - one corner and one penalty. We do not have the craft to open teams up . When will people realise this ? The current squad is not good enough. I am saying this for the 11,000th time and still we do not act. WE HAVE NO PACE UPFRONT AND NO MIDFIELD ATTACKER

            NEIL DO SOMETHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

morison is chasing lost causes all the time - ridiculous balls hit into him - no one playing off him - what do you expect him to do ?

I blame harris - no tactical idea

@baz2262: I'm sure Harris wanted to win. He is a professional first and foremost.. No manager/player gets it right all the time. We will see Saturday. Abit harsh to say he's Southend that's why we lost
