ALFIE Pavey struck twice as Millwall beat Leeds 3-1 in their U21 Professional Development League 2 match at The Den on Monday.

Defender Keaton Wood was also on the scoresheet as Justin Skinner’s side recorded their third successive win.

But it was Pavey’s opener that caught the eye as he found the top corner after just 36 seconds.

    Pavey is really stepping up this season: five goals in the last two games for the U21s, I believe. Shows the benefits of opening a clear path from the Academy to the first team. Youth has always been the way forward for our club. Shame that it's taken so long for the people in charge to realise that.

    Great goal saan, pushing for a place in the first team which is great to see, but sorry to mention this, is anyone else put off by the fact that we just hoof it forward straight from the kick off, the first team also do this, is it to get us up the field quicker or what, why can't we keep the ball and at least try and play it around a bit, hate seeing that, keep the ball and play football, or is it just me

      @sjk1768:
      It happened from kick off against Posh.
      Ten yards in front of Morison and straight out for a throw in.
      Posh kicked off the second and passed it straight through our lot,
      while they stood around watching - Just like a Subbuteo game.
      A bit of a worry.

        @lowdown:

        On second viewing, it might have been practised on the training ground,
        because about ten seconds we scored....Lol....

        Cracking strike.

    Nice goal but did u see plastic sheeting flapping around on our scoreboard looks so bad, most clubs nowadays have a scoreboard even Exeter city, I can't believe we haven't got one or at least a clock ffs

    this scoreboard issue,i cant see the point,we all have our mobile phones and we know the scores before they show it on the scoreboard,and i cant see it very well from where i sit,also the sun shines directly onto it making it a poor picture at times.
    put the money toward's a new player i say,if people really want a score board let's go back to the way we did it at the old den,a man putting the scores up manually ,also we dont get any highlight's worth watching.
