As it happened: Millwall 1-0 Peterborough

Re-live all the action as Millwall won at home for the first time this season.

The Lions deserved the win for the persistence they showed against Peterborough after a difficult few weeks at The Den.

Shaun Williams defined that persistence, and he was finally rewarded with the winner having come close to putting Millwall ahead three times.

It's the international break now and that will give boss Neil Harris the chance to assess the season to date before the return to league action.

Really happy for williams. Sounds like he's played well today. He showed through most of last season what a class player he is but he's had a crap start to this season. Hopefully this is the turning point and we can get that player back who won player of the month 3 or 4 times in a row last season.

    Only caught 2nd half
Sounded like a good end to end open game, or half.
Well done wall, glad to have you back Carlos and can I say what a good bit of commentary by Mr John Kelly. I slated NAD a week or so ago for being as bad as the performances of late but credit where it's due.
    Good stuff John.

@lukesmithmfc: Can i second that for John Kelly, enjoyed the style of updates . perhaps the team and Mr Kelly are learning fast and are gradually turning a corner, early days but good signs tonight.

Archer and hopefully Carlos now in for the season, noticed Mackall Smith on the bench at Luton tonight, worth a punt on loan?

@wongo: he's only just arrived at Luton from Brighton so no chance of him leaving. Shame we couldn't have hot him he's a good player and better than league 2. Luton also have Josh McQuoid who played a blinder at the weekend. Mackhail Smith said at weekend he still wants to play in premier league and thinks he can with Luton in next few seasons!

In transfer dealings - Luton (showing some ambition) 1 Millwall (showing some ambition) 0

Cant believe I have to hold my hands up and say watching the last hours of transfers going on I feel slightly jealous and more than a little sick.
I remember loving being the underdogs but just looking at the amount money that is around even in the Championship makes me realise how f7cked our club is at the minute
It wasn't that long ago with a couple of trips to Wembley and the FA Cup I was starting to believe anything is possible for our Club but I think now the Chairman has lost his passion and yes his money (of which im grateful )but its time for JB to move on and take AA with him .
It looks like Bomber is being left holding a poison chalice , no funds a very poor team and with no real experience as a manager whatever happens this season I will never blame Harris I actually feel for the bloke .
Right now I would rather a Chicken farmer from the far east be running the club who wants to invest at least we maybe able to buy a couple of quality players every now and then I truly believe the outcome will end up just the same if we carry on having no ambition , at least go down fighting or in a blasé of glory with money we can ill afford ( every one else seems to ) INVEST INVEST INVEST INVEST
    or do one
