As it happened: Millwall 0-2 Chesterfield

Re-live all the action as Millwall fell to a third successive league defeat at The Den.

Chesterfield midfielder Jay O'Shea was the hero for Dean Saunders' side as his two goals gave the Spireites all three points.

The Lions, meanwhile, will have to listen to talks of home hoodoos for a while longer, but have the chance to win at home for the first time this season against Peterborough on Tuesday night in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Sorry NAD but the news feed for the Twitter on here needs to be mobile friendly. On my iPhone 6 the Twitter updates are not showing properly, I can only see half of the post as my screen is not wide enough. Does anyone else have the same problem?

It definitely sounds like same old s***, and i'm not talking about the way the players are playing.
After a few minutes in to the game, we f*** up a little and the crowd is straight on the players back for the entire match. I know we all have a right to feel p***** of with performances. But as we are supporters, shouldn't we help 'support' the team/player when something goes wrong, to help them feel better, pick themselves up and go at it again. Not make them afraid to try something in case they get it wrong and then get mauled by the crowd. Surely we are doing the team more harm then good.

      That's rubbish!

It happens at every ground, it's just an excuse that everyone has jumped on the bandwagon with.

If the players don't like it they can either play better or f*** off

@longsuttonlion: 100% agree with you there, I've seen us loose many a time, but being totally outplayed at home is a joke, I know we can play better and force teams back because we did after going 1-0 down today, we went 4-4-1-1 and looked decent, as for the boo boys it happens at every home game across the country when the home team get bossed like we do. I love bomber he is & will always be a wall legend, but I'm having some doubts about his ability to get the best out of this current bunch.....I know it's early doors but......please prove me wrong

@wolla5: It can't be a coincidence that we play better away from home, although the majority of time still not getting the results. Clearly moaning about the team every 2 seconds and jumping on their backs booing etc is not working, as we've done it towards the s*** we've had play for over 2 years and things have not improved. So why not try a different approach and try and encourage them, so that they feel at ease playing at their home ground etc

Deja vu here at The Den, Chesterfield looking sharp, crisp passing and knocking the ball around at their leisure. Us on the other hand look sluggish, one dimensional and nervous as hell everytime they come near our box. Special mention to Craig who if he wasn't a left back before sure as f.cuk isn't one now.

Time for Harris to be sacked if we lose today.
Our last 3 managers records are as follows
    P. W. D. L. Win percentage
    Steve Lomas. 24. 6. 6. 12. 25%
    Ian Holloway. 62. 14. 9. 29. 23%
    Neil Harris 18. 3. 6. 9. 16%
If we lose today it will read
    19. 3. 6. 10. 15%
If we do lose today David Tuttle's record is better than Harris's a worrying sign

We need someone new in now, to help bring NH on and take the pressure off him, he has limited resources and not the experience needed, he should never have taken the job, but hindsight and all that, we need new investment, get big Sam down there, rebuild whilst we just about have time.

point taken, But it's just desperate times, that needs desperate measures, at this time Charlton holding Wolves away, Palace winning at Chelsea ,

I see wolves had le fondre and Afobe up front today.

Players jackett wanted when we had a proper boss. We did enough to make a good man walk, then spent silly money with two poor managers.

We then install a crowd favourite in Harris, release 17/18 players £60-70k a week and sign 3??

Time for AA and JB to come out and tell the truth... 3rd biggest budget in league my a***....

The truth is they won't spend another penny until they know if they'll get the land and rights from renewal, once it's a definate no our yank is off!. Yes I know he has spent a lot in funding bad decisions, but now would be the time to spend well and progress. Southampton, Norwich did it from thus league..

NH is doing his best but unfortunately his best is not good enough nor is most of his team. I feel a bit sorry for the youngsters who must be losing confidence. We thought Morison might make a difference but I hardly heard his name mentioned during the second half, how many shots did he have the whole game? I think we may need an experienced manager if things do not improve soon, plus a few more players.

Shocking. The board needs to invest NOW or will be going down again this year. I have been watching Millwall since 1989 and they have never fallen to the fourth division but this could be the year unless something is done. I don't blame Harris. His tactics have been naive at times, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. This squad badly needs some quality

I'm going to be unpopular for saying this but where is the article or quote saying the money isn't available? All I hear is we have the 3rd biggest budget and last season Holloway saying he had the funds available but there were no options out their. We had a 1 million bid accepted for Wood but he went to Leicester instead and would you blame him. The problem is who wants to play for Millwall we are a long ball team with no aspiration. The only target that we have heard of is Hanson a 27 year old who has always played in League 1 can you blame Berylson for not wanting to spend 500k and be held hostage by Bradford. Everyone wants to blame the board and Berylson but when did you hear us come out and show an interest in a player of value? And people say who would want to play for us well I'm pretty sure money talks and I'm sure we have money to offer. Harris I know your inexperienced and don't have many connections with top clubs but go and spend some money if you don't want to go down as a huge managerial flop.

I've listened to the debate about the squad over the last few years and there's no doubt in my mind that they gotta get a finisher. Blokes f***** nancying around the box taking shot after shot for no result. Game after game ,it a nightmare. Bad time to make a comment so close to the end of game but f***, ya just wanna scream.

We look well and truly f***** at the moment and I don't see any sign of it changing. Got to hope I'm wrong as there's still 33 games left but looks like a fight against relegation. Heading on a one way ticket to the conference with Blackpool........

I listened to all you threaders how you could not wait for the season to start play all the youngsters you said, Craigy back brilliant, stick with Forde what a great prospect Horatio is etc etc etc.
Basically Wall have been let down by the hierarchy and with four home defeats its relegation fact.
Peterborough in the JPT won't get 2000 and they are real diehards. I cannot waste my money because I cannot afford to go to Wall and suffer this and after all the previous seasons crap.
I believe medals to supporters should be given for dedication and a call above duty - it is just too depressing to comprehend. ANSWER GO BACKRUPT AND START AGAIN.................we will go down and even then it could well be freefall at least we have Blackpool for company. Never mind Hammers and Anoraks won just to make the day worse the season cannot get any worse that is for sure. Get WISEY and let Bomber work off him ....................NOW.............not sure Jimmi Abdoooooo is a legend. Never mind could be worse no it can't.................................................this is horrible!!!!!

Quite a worry that our crowd was 3,000 down on the usual Saturday crowd , and how many are going to come back to watch this rubbish . Harris has to tell the chairman he needs cash to get some decent strikers in or he should stand down . To keep saying that the goals will come is nonsense , Gregory , obrien and Marquis have no idea where the net is and Moro has had a terrible 2 years for Leeds and Us .

I wrote to Berylson when Harris took over.
He should not have been given the job permanently with no experience. Yes, he`s a club legend... and that`s exactly why. He should have been sent somewhere else to prove himself first. Look at where we are now... four home defeats and a reputation that is in tatters.
When Holloway went, I told him to speak with Warburton. He was available at the end of the season (because the Brentford chairman hasn`t got a clue either). The timing could not have been better, but what happened... Harris gets the job full time, and Warburton goes to Glasgow Rangers.
Now look where we are, and... Rangers have won eight out of eight.
I didn`t even get a response to my advice.
    It beggars belief...
