MILLWALL handed trials to three players today as their Elite Development side beat Ipswich 3-0.

Giancarlo Gallifuoco, Ioannis Raisis and Fejiri Okenabirhie all impressed manager Justin Skinner as goals from Jamie Philpot, Alfie Pavey and Okenabirhie gave the Lions the win.

Carlos Edwards also featured and could make his return for the first team against Peterborough in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday night.

Gallifuoco, 21, is an Australian former Tottenham midfielder who spent last season at Swansea.

Raisis is a 19-year-old who arrived at Calmont Road via the U19 Bundesliga, while goalscorer Okenabirhie is a former Stevenage trainee.
