Still waiting for the war cry from at least one payer on how they will fight for the shirt and we all need to stick together... 4 years of that and still sinking like a brick. What Neil and Livers desperately need is a Director of Football person to come in. Someone who has a lot of know how and a track record of turning around mid-sized clubs like Millwall (like Jackett did and done for Wolves as well). I thought Steve Coppell was going to be that man. Said this all last season and the one before but the club, the board and the staff need a real football knowledge man at the top level to really steer this club from the oncoming rocks! Probably need a defensive coach as well, Jackett was a defender in his paying days so that was pretty natural for him and the types of players he brought in. Doing a better example of that now at Wolves.

@Bexley_Lion: they'll probably get that sky sports "Expert" on the championship to come in and advise NH, completely forgetting that he was here last season, such is the ineptitude of this board.

@PerthLion: I Like McGhee but not as an advisor he inherited one of our most talented and best squads that one the League One title last time out. But if you look back at that squad we had talented youth in Cahill, Reid, Ifill, Kinet, Sadlier and of course Harris mixed with strong leadership and experienced players such as Nethercott and Dyche at the back, Moody and Claridge up top. Look at our current squad and its very lightweight.

Prefer we got Steve Coppell come in, he has been floating about around the club last season. Bring him in officially to sort this mess out.

How anyone is surprised we can't defend set pieces is beyond me, you only have to look at the way we TAKE set pieces to see, we must look good at training. Get George Graham in to help Bomber for me as I feel he knows how set up defences

@sjk1768: George would be great,he built his team from the backand he was one of the best defenders in the country as a player. However you cannot make a purs out of a sow's ear, we need a strong CB who can command.

@mewall62: We don't own the Freehold on the land. Its worth nothing other than the revenue it earns as a stadium. It does not have planning consent for any other use.

Should of kept Gueye. He would score plenty in this division and give us natural width (i think he's still a free agent)? Forde,Williams,Upson,Martin & co are NOT the future of Millwall. If we get our house in order we can still revive our season.

i was going to say i dont know what is wrong with this club, but i think it would be best to say I DONT KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT at this club.
Chairman has put money in but would have got more than stake back if development and regeneration was granted, he still writes off debt because a club with no debt is easier to sell, I honestly think he has lost interest now.
AA is on his own agenda just making money and talking the talk in football circles to be on big boards and football councils etc, not for Millwall but for Andy Ambler.
Scouting seems to have found a couple of gems recently, but in JB's time has been appalling.
Neil Harris rightly so a club PLAYING legend, I don't think he is the man just yet to lead this club forward, put him back with the under 21's and make him assistant to a proven manager, not that anyone would want the job. All the coaching staff and players, it honestly feels like a "jobs for the boys" set up, hitting all the numbers in his phone book, nostalgia and reminiscing is great, but in football you must push on forward and not go back.
We were promised youth in the summer, and this crowd would be ok with the results we have had if the team was full of young hungry players trying, with a young hungry manager taking on all the old Pro's, hell i'd even take relegation again if we had a vision and were trying something different.
Millwall- the team that lets youngsters play, get your kids down there for guaranteed first team football, don't sign for Arsenal, charlton or Palarse, just to rot and lose the passion.

I don't know the answer to it but for me we need a change at the top, we need a chairman that understands football, we need someone willing to write cheques, and the biggest expense is going to have to be on a decent top manager, with the best budget relative to the league we are in.
Or we become a football factory, invest in the youth set up and churn out player after player and sell em for good profit

Harris will learn he is a clever bloke and has Millwall in his heart. We don't have a strong squad but am confident that he will deliver a top half finish. and we need to back him 100%
Positives from last night; Fred was brilliant , Sid played well. and thank God Jimmy is back . Aiden is back
Negatives ; Craig does not look like a leader or a Centre Back , Cummings positional play is shocking and he dithers on ball. Williams is not suited to our style of play . Gregory 5 goals ( not incl penalties) in 44 appearances that is not a centre forwards return. He is just not good enough and the sooner we realise it the better.

@Kinet: we need Carlos fit and offered a contract, (interestingly, Romeo isn't on the official Millwall site as a player, I'm sure he was there a couple of weeks ago).
Nelson in next to Craig or Beevers.
Joe martin needs to be the best LB we've ever had, Ferguson needs to go Left midfield and Onyedinma needs to partner Morison up front, Gregory, thank you so much for all the running, we do love a tryer but i dont think you are the man, the only positive i can say for him at the moment is at least he has a trade to fall back on, maybe he could fix the old scoreboard.
Spine of Craig/Beevers/Jimmy, Morison, youngsters all around
Upson and williams can warm the bench, Jimmy and powell/thompson RM get Twardek fit and he can play there.

@brooker: I wouldn't put to much hope in Carlos Edwards.
He's been out for an entire season with a serious injury. At his age, it will be hard for him to get back to the form he showed when he first arrived (Always happy to be proved wrong though).
What we need is another Danny Shittu type player next to Sid who will dominate the box.
We are also desperate for another 2 full backs as Cummings is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

Wouldnt get rid of harris at all bloke knows where he wants the club, getting in someone to give him a hand defo the bloke heart is in the club just not got exprience yet! for everyone getting down already i said ages ago we are defo not fighting for promotion in the first season down here sad fact but its true no we wont get relegated!!!! not going to happen theres enough quality in there to stay up easily with jimmy and obrien back now! i agree with everyone that the club needs some changes higher up and behind the scenes and some better quality on the pitch. this season just dont expect much but let harris learn his way! how many over night manger legends are there?

At least we scored a couple in this one, so an improvement on the previous game. If we keep improving like that we will start winning soon.

The issue is we don't have dominant centre backs and or a effective defensive midfielder who can also build plays through the middle and protect the back four. None of our centre backs seem to be able to dominate their strikers and all lack pace. Our full backs are either injured or too easy to pass either from bad positioning or lack of ability. Start with a defensive midfielder,
