Exactly Dave, Shrews had more possession on the stats than us but would swap that for the points.

I feel too much emphasis is placed on certain aspects of stats nowadays as it's what you do with your possession that counts.

@Millwallsteve1972: I really won't us to do well this season I don't understand why we didn't start Gregory he scored at Shrewsbury. What message does it send out to our strikers. Unless we play a winning team and stop chopping and changing the only stats we will see is the bottom of the table number one rule in football DONT change a winning side can't we play same team Harris or is this enough coco chop n change with players out of position I.e nelson

Good point dave as you never change a winning team but it's not secret that Gregs covered every blade at Shrews so perhaps could have stated with him last night then brought him off half time or second half. Four CB's in defence last night was ridiculous!!

@Millwallsteve1972: Steve that's right mate. All we ask as fans is for our team to work hard fight for ball and give your all. And for the manager to pick the right team last night we did neither. I love Harris but he must take a good look at himself. Learn the lesson Coventry. Is all that matters now time to see what players turn up

We have played Barnet twice now and we still cant beat em .They beat 2-0 at their ground in 2009 and then they come to us and we lose again 2-1 this time never mind onwards and upward,Lets take it out on Coventry .

Last nights display was a joke ... Under Harris, we are a lot more attacking which is nice to see, but defensively were awful!! no aggression what so ever, and Lee Martin is an absolute liability.

Harris says we need to be more patient but we couldn't be because we could not retain possession - our midfielders moved it too slowly and gave it away under pressure - we don't have the skills or structure to be patient

As I said last night, this cup is becoming a lottery at this stage and is not worth the hassle any more. Credit to those who went last night to watch what is virtually part of pre-season these days.

Can't understand why some people on here are already getting at players and some getting at NH so early in the season .also can't understand why some are upset that players were rested for a game that not many people are interested in (only 4000 at the game).i have said on here before that it's a long season and match winning players should not be put at risk of injury in meaningless games ,this season is all about getting out of this div.and I for one am willing to give Neal a good amount of time before I get worried.

Don't let it bother you mate. It's just a lack of football knowledge by some of the usual suspects. Most people appreciate it's still early days, we have a new squad, new system, a few youngsters. Plus the capital one cup isn't high on anyone's prioritys. All teams field weakend sides and only play their best 11 if they start getting far, or draw a big team, you only have to look at the results to see that, burnley losing to port vale and pompy beating Derby are bigger shocks. People need to get real, no we didn't play well and the players did look abit disinterested but then look at the crowd. The league is EVERYONES bread and butter. Judge us after 20 odd games. Until then, all you moaners need to just accept we will have defeats along the way, and try not to get too carried away weather we win or lose. Our season will not start to take shape until around Christmas.

Your right it will take time from now until Christmas. NH needs another CB,LB,CM and one more CF, beyond the fact we missing keys players such as AOB, Jimmy Abdou and Carlos Edwards we also need to give Mahlon Romeo a chance into the first team to shuffle and rotate players and see on how it goes from there
