As it happened: Millwall 2-3 CD Tondela

MILLWALL fell to their first pre-season defeat against a composed and technical CD Tondela.

After last week's comfortable win at Stevenage, Neil Harris' side received a much stiffer test against the Portuguese team, who were promoted to the top flight last season.

It was the last chance for a number of Lions players to potentially nail down a starting position before next Saturday's Sky Bet League One opener at Shrewsbury.

See how it all unfolded here.

To be fair that looks like one of our strongest starting 11.
But it looks like a fitness exercise as he wants players to get 90 mins, surprised he didn't include PCH over Fred for that reason.
Jimmy's absence is probably a testament to the shape he keeps himself in and he probably doesn't need a full 90 minute game today.
All the youngsters can probably run for 2 games back to back, but those coming back from injuries or who haven't had much game time will benefit from this.

Why call him Fred, but use the surname for everyone else? Bit disrespectful.
