Both there goals were avoidable , cant believe that Forde got beat from 23 yards , but he was near the centre spot, and Dunne well he could not close a door, as a full back you are supposed to 1 get close to your man 2 show him down the touch line and stop him getting a good cross in, but no not Alan Dunne he did not of these and hence there second goal. Priceless

@Barnlion: Sorry Sunshine but you must look at Sid nelson ! for both goals not dunne or Forde
first goal routine header for any defender to put it back to the halfway line you get shape and organised again unfortunately he helps the ball on to the lump upfront,
Second goal with have a man down injured and he plays a s*** clipped in ball that real easy to header. It also falls outside the box bread and butter stuff, with him and beevers caught out Rhodes runs on to score, now for Sid the poor chap its chicken and the egg
If we score first we have something to defend but we never,
What about the positive full back play by dunne ? The switch to Paris would he have scored it's a different story maybe it would have been priceless ? And not pointless

@Jim28: A cross from 30 yards into midfield should be bread and butter for any decent centre-half, poor Nelson header cost us and Forde left one on one with the best goalscorer in the division. But like you say Jim, it's easier to blame them two than to look at the facts. Young players are not above blame and as well as Sid, O'Brien and Cowan-Hall need to look at their KEY moments in the game and learn from them. If Marquis had have missed the chance that O'Brien missed he'd be getting dogs abuse on here.

@Jim28: @Bush: Lads I was looking at the film on here and also looking from where the ball was played into the danger area and who if anyone dealt with it, blaming Dunne and Forde is not taking an easy option its a statement of how I saw us losing 2 goals.

@Barnlion: did you see the clip where dunne put through Paris ? Or did you only see the part were the keeper saved the ball ?
Not having a go mate just saying Sid Nelson was the man that fluffed it not dunne or Forde, I respect what you see its your opinion at the end of the day, and football is about opinions but it's just a bit Toxic to out dunne and Forde but both goals totally avoidable fully agree with that...

Two mistakes yet again Forde and Dunne I personally don't want either at the club next season and have felt like that for a while now im sure they are both big characters in the dressing room but you need to carry that on to the pitch , the challenge by Hardy for the first was also very half hearted and when you squander good chances up front you usually get punished.
And I agree with earlier post Crap highlights

Cant blame anyone for the goals..the cross was one of those you see in every game ..big hopeful ball in the box but unlike our strikers there's made sure and buried it when it fell to him..the 2nd was near the end and we were chasing the game ..the attack broke down and quick punt forward found the one person you didn't to find ..

I have said it until I am blue in the face.. These players should have been read the riot act . The day Holloway left the club.. If you don't perform your P45 is waiting for you in the office. Simple as. I have put my money where my mouth is. Through the turnstile and have shares. Where is the Pashion! .. Neil Harris will not now get the job. He was unable to lift this bunch of so called footballers.. A chairman with no hands on is as good as a fart in a lift.

Sorry, but our problems have not only been not scoring. The bigger problem is defending and goalkeeping. A lot of that is down to Holloway chopping and changing the team and they have been a lot better since Harris took over. But, and it's a big but, no-one can tell me Forde has had a good season up to the last few games. We would be at least ten points better off if it wasn't for his howlers this season. His positioning for the second goal made it easy for Rhodes. Too far out, leaving no time for the defenders to recover. He may be able to pull off the odd save here and there, but a goalkeeper needs to be consistent all season, not just for the last eight games. In any case, we are all but down barring some sort of miracle and he won't hang around thankfully. As for Dunne, HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND NEVER HAS BEEN AT CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL! Let any other club who comes in in the summer have him (blimey, there are some mugs around)!

@junkmale: Defending is only made easy once you score...but his positioning was spot on mate ready to close the ball down he never made it easy for Rhodes beevers and SID did the defenders let him have a free run they were never going to recover... but Fordy has cocked up this season on a few occasions but what about any of the defenders or the defending this season it's like having a tennis rackett with a hole in you can't win a game if the defending is not good enough, and before you say we should get rid of dunny because he was in the heart of defence Holloway put him there why has ambler / Harris Livermore or anyone else not said anything to Holloway about it earlier in the season ? To say its not good enough change things there where the disappointment is season everyone passing the book earlier in the season now Holloways gone the management all have a opinion .
