As it happened: Brentford 2-2 Millwall

FOLLOW live team news and match action as Millwall face Brentford.

Neil Harris described the Lions' 0-0 draw with Brighton on Tuesday as a "good start" to their recovery under his management.

They'll look to build on that result in a London derby at Griffin Park but the Bees are just as desperate for points in their promotion push.

2 things I do not understand about todays team.
    1) Why Archer does not play - WHAT IS THE POINT OF GETTING HIM JUST TO SIT ON BENCH ?
    2) Why does our best player (by miles) Fabrini sit on bench ?

Last chance today, if we win and rotheram lose were back in the mix. If we lose were done for. Gotta keep the faith until the bitter end, we are Millwall till we die

Cant believe stick bombers getting for not playing fabbrini.. hes not going to be here next season i would rather him use players for next season without a doubt. I think he has made solid selections.

@cmj23: Hooiveld isn't going to be at Millwall next season either but he is a permanent fixture in the line-up. If you play the best players you have available to you now, i.e Fabbrini , you may just nick the results you need to stay up. I'm not buying into the idea that 'we're going down anyway , so lets play our own players for next season' , thats nonsense. Why bring in players on loan until the end of the season if you're going to stop playing them 10 games out. This is exactley the type of muddled thinking that has put Millwall in the position we are in. Good grief !!

I think that post was for someone else matey but I do think Fabbrini helps us retain the ball and is one of our only players that can go past people people and create chances @cmj23:

Every time I see the millwall line up even with Woolford and Abdou I fear the worst, just poor players in a division we don't deserve to be in, up the lions but even I has lost the faith.

Fabbrini is far and away our most gifted player, but we need a different type of player to shore up the midfield.
Bomber is trying to make us harder to beat, therefore no Fabs.
However Woolford is weak in the tackle, has bad positional awareness (watch him have a blinder) and I would prefer Powell in his place.
Jimmy will run and run but will not provide any threat with the ball.
    Like the front two...
    Maybe today is the beginning.....

@eio: Powell should play in the centre for me, he is very gifted and comfortable with the ball at his feet. At this level you need to keep the ball and not give it away, which is why Jimmy should be dropped. COYL!!!!

I'm struggling to believe it. Hopefully this was a good performance by Millwall, rather than a poor performance by Brentford...!

I am not sure that Neil Harris is the man to lead us, but a few more wins and I'll definitely change my tune.

We must be one of the only teams that goes two nil up and as supporters we still expect the worse I hate to say it but we need better players who have bottle epically at the back , at least Bomber has got them playing with a bit of pride again .

a win today would have given us something to play for against Charlton - now even if we win we cant stay up - so what if we beat them - all this building for next season nonsense - yes it is good Obrien and others are getting time but many of these players wont be here so the team and squad will be different anyway next year so what do these performances tell us , not much. - Too much living in the future , go 2 nil up for once and still cant win , it has nothing to do with next year but does mean we are down now - how can you not hold on in such circumstances
