This just showed the differences in the teams. Our defence gives Le Fondre too much space and he scores twice, our forwards have two really good chances and don't take them. Story of our Season really. Defensive errors and Poor finishing. However, a good crowd on Tuesday making a lot of noise maybe can give the team the confidence that they lack. If we are going down, lets go down together fighting.

@rikkiatwall: i can excuse gregorys miss as i think he was given a nudge outside the area and a possible clipping of his ankles in the area, but O" brien should have scored i agree, any side we play against with adam le fondre in it always should warn caution he is a bogey to us and one we should have bought with hindsight.

@millwallbuilder: With all due respect, Shittu may win the headers, but they would simply stop punting the ball and play it round him on the floor, as every other team did this season when he played. His attitude is unquestionable, but he is not championship std anymore. Our best CB pairing would have Beevers in it, and I would say that Hooiveld is not performing to the std he set himself when he first signed, but right now, I would try Beevers and Hooiveld and keep Dunne in reserve.

2nd Goal Dunn was marking air yards away from the striker enough said we need a defensive coach someone like George Graham who built teams from the back onwRds

Most people on this site agree 442 is the way for us to play . Unfortunately this leaves one player short in midfield and exposes the back four.Chopper has a problem he needs a right sided centre back
Sid is too young and maybe lacks the height to be a Championship centre back.Shittu would be the answer but there seems to be a dressing room problem with him hence Dunn plays. This leaves the defence and Forde always with a problem

    simple basic errors

Hoo allows LeF to cut back in when he has to force him wide on his left foot
and dunne at his usual best, slack and allowing Le f to do the same thing - if you cant learn from your mistakes - then dunne turns his back on the shot - he is always half a second too slow in his thinking

    our chances speak for themselves

This is why you don't play a full back at centre half
1st goal ball over the top of Dunnes head, no immeadiate reaction to get back to help closing Le Fondre down
2nd goal ball passed to Le Fondre, Dunnes reaction is to look at the lino rather than closing the player down

    1st post all ways read:

    Bang in trouble'

Feel sorry for Neil, to far gone now although my hearts waiting for the maths. Where 3 yards behind everyone, some players more. From the highlights abdou attempting to put a cross in! Why
is even in the position to do so? One touch football around their box? How baggy are the touches laughable. Greggs clean threw no confidence no acceleration no vision no composure. He stuttered for a sec and lost he's half a yard to drive. O'brien unlucky but you got to finish your dinner. Dan harding how dare you come on loan at your age to our club and throw a fit like that! Not what we need. Grammar spelling s***

@COYL_90: Harding had every right to throw a fit at the bad defending that allowed bolton to score 2 goals ,even if he is on lone ,it shows his concern unlike the others who just dropped their heads and accepted it as the norm.
I dont think greggs hesitated he had to control the ball and look where the defenders were,if anything i think he was fouled.

@jim1222: Oh and before you come back with more high expectations of our players, harding was doing his job marking their right winger,if he had moved across which was a physicle impossability he would have left the left back position wide open and had hoove done his job of pushing their goal scorer wide a simple cross would have left their right winger all the room in the world and you would have crucified harding for that. Hoov nd Dunne wer at fault for those goals full stop.
Usain Bolt could not have covered that amount of ground anyway.

    It is what it is.
Until we accept league one football
Then we can expect much the same.
Rightly most want dunne and fordey dropped but that's not gonna happen just yet. Saturday I got told that chopper and fordey often go out for a meal so there's absolutely no chance of fordey being dropped.
As I've said until we accept our fate we can only respect and support chopper in his decisions and what he sees fit.
No point in moaning about anything anymore let's just get behind em regardless.
Gutted I can't go Tuesday due to night shift but for those that can we got what we wanted and are going down so if your only going to vent your anger on the squad picked by chopper then please don't bother to go as I can't but if I wasn't doing nights I most certainly would be going. The boys need a bit of support now in prep for next season and chopper does not deserve it either.
Support or stay at home, either way the boys will appreciate it.

@lukesmithmfc: If Chopper and Forde go out for a post match meal that will have to stop. If he's the Millwall manager either short term or long term then he'll need to sort that out. There's no place for sentiment or favourites when you're managing a team and he shouldn't need telling that.

Dunne-You're out of your depth. Absolute s****. When you're not giving away needless penalties, slamming opposing forwards into hoardings or creating a twenty foot gap between yourself and the nearest striker you are looking over your shoulder to see what's going on. I CAN see what's going on. Please do your stuff in the conference and stop insulting my intelligence by saying you're good enough at this level. Sorry to be the one to tell you but YOU AINT.

@bollocky: It's easy to point fingers, and I'm as guilty of that as much as anyone else. That said, the 'new' players that are currently forming the first eleven may, or may not be good enough at this level. If and when we get a couple of wins under our belts we'll see. What I am very sure about is that Dunne isn't good enough now and hasn't been for three seasons. Forde is an average keeper at best and it's time to drop him, make him available and blood a youngster. Forde will be on the phone to his agent the minute we get relegated anyway. He won't play for the ROI if we're in League One. If I were Chopper I'd take advantage of the fact that he's not expected to keep us up and start by removing both Forde and Dunne from the line-up. He won't get too many complaints on that score I'm sure and definately none from me. As for those that are mooting for the return of Shittu I'd say do me a favour please-Another one that's well past his sell-by date in more ways than one.

We have a perfectly good centre back of Championship quality in Beevers. The only reason Dunne was moved to CB was so we could 'play' from the back that stopped about 6 months ago so why he has played there since I have no idea and why Harris picked him there that was a mystery.
Tough on him I know but Gregory will be the reason we go down he has missed so many easy chances !! Even taking a third of those chances changes the momentum in games and probably means we have 8-10 more points. He is just not up to Championship level and that has been obvious for a very long time. He should have been a bit part player whilst he developed or sent out on loan.

I have seena drop in Hooiveld's performances over the last 3-4 games, I know he started well for us, but either playing alongside Dunne is causing this drop or he is losing form. Bring back Beevers and play him alongside Hooiveld. Yes they are both left footed, but those two should be able to work out who covers which striker, and Hooiveld can play on the right hand side of the centre. Alternatively, recall Webster and give him a run with Beevers till Hooiveld recovers his form in training.

Didn't take long for either Dunn or forde to let you down Neil so please drop both the clowns now as im starting to have as much contempt for them as I do Holloway which is pretty sad as they are both long serving wall players the club is mainly to blame as both should have gone at the end of last season . As it looks like were down already can we just play some of the youngsters who knows some of them may even step up and we may uncover another fred or Nelson .
My brother was talking about Le Fondra before he was on most peoples radar so why did none of the scouts at our club know of him ? we could have probably got him for around £500,000 and to think of the money we have wasted since then makes me feel sick its not rocket science every club needs an on form Morrison or Woods in their team so lets address that first . I have been reading posts on here for a couple of years saying the same thing so just how ducking badly is our being club run ,
