As it happened: Rotherham United 2-1 Millwall

FOLLOW live team news and match action as Millwall face Rotherham United.

The stakes couldn't be higher as the Lions make their first-ever visit to the New York Stadium, where a win would give their survival hopes an almighty boost.

Defeat, however, would leave Ian Holloway's side cut adrift in the bottom three and the Millwall boss is having to contend with a lengthy injury list ahead of the game.

So Olly is made our manager does a s*** load of talking and a s*** load of us start believing him (Guilty your honour ) he then cant find his best team and ships out MOST of the dead wood , relegation yet again is decided on the last game of the season we beat Wolves and stay up .
Then JB decides to keep him at the club a s*** load of supporters decide not to renew their season tickets and fans vote with their feet , ten games in our new look youthful team with a hint of experience is starting to look like a very good team we hang on to our youngsters by offering them better contracts and slowly the fans start coming back as the new look Millwall push on for a promotion place .
Who would have believed it just before we were thrashed at Rotherham that Olly would turn from villain to hero BANG BANG BANG the postman at my door wanting me leave me a parcel for next door
never eat a s*** LOAD of cheese sandwiches just before you go to bed as the dreams will do your head in when you wake up
    Good luck today boys

Today's the day to proof the board were right to back you Ollie. No tinkering with the defence please, even if we go down a goal, 3 at the back is not the answer!

Fair play to Fletcher and Woolford for making themselves available. Good team spirit shown there.

Why can't he play a back four of Dunne-Hooiveld-Nelson-Harding. On Tuesday night Dunne played too far right in the first half to cover for Jimmy that he left the middle exposed. It was obvious to me and must have been for their manager too because in the second half he changed it and they went down the left and all their goals came from that side of the pitch. Just watch the replay if you were not there, all three Sheffield goals came from crosses /passes from their left. When Olly said he made a mistake with going with three at the back Tuesday night, it's not the first time, against Reading last season we went a goal down at home, he switched to a back three then and we lost 3-0. His comment then was 'I made a mistake, we should not have gone with three at the back' Well Mr Holloway some people learn by their mistakes where as you don't it seems.

I seem to Remember its was Dunne just in front of the dug-outs getting challenged hard as he gave the ball away standing there with his arm in the air waving at the ref for a free-kick while the Thier player who He passed to broke away and set up one of there goals, If my 14 year old did that on a Sunday morning I'd go nuts at him( well he wouldn't do that anyway) Dunne to much of a liability for what he offers !!!! Rant over

So if Fred's scoring record is on a par with Paris-Cowan Hall in League Two why do fans think that PCH is a good signing and that letting Fred go out on loan was a good decision? Could Fred have done the same job for us that PCH was signed for? Just asking.......

Shocking, shocking, shocking. Can anybody out there still be with Holloway? This appointment had disaster written all over it from day one and showed a complete lack of understanding of what makes our club tick. I'd take another five gambles like Lomas over another media whore charlatan like Holloway.

Ha but didn't Mr H say it was not a 6 pointe just look at the league table I reckon JB was getting ready for Div1 weeks ago and will look to get out of football now I can only see us ending up like Luton and all the others that have gone this way only thing that will keep us afloat is major investment and with our record not going to happen only have to look back at when we had Benny Fenton as the owner and we would do well but just needed a good striker but guess what we never bought one.

Thank you Millwall board for keeping this hopeless manager. You are cowardly in not having the courage to sack him. The writing on the wall has been there since before Christmas yet they have done nothing, living in a dream world that somehow Holloway would keep the club up. what a bunch of half-wits they have proven to be. The fans have been kidded up, robbed and made mugs of.
Look what KJ has achieved at Wolves who have given him a decent budget. Our board have no ambition and are happy to take the drop.
Whatever happened to the consortium that wanted to take the club over?

if he don't walk or don't get sacked then there must be something going on behind the scenes, this preparation for league 1 has been going on all year, let contracts expire or pay off high earners, bleed youngsters, loan them to league 1 for experience in that division, buy good low league players that will do well in league 1.
Get a manager in that will agree to do all this and tell him to be prepared for a bumpy ride and flak. but when we win league 1 at a stroll with a low wage bill, good young players, decent crowds, time to sell up.
