Don't defend him just because he's Irish!

Watch the highlights later and see how Ireland's number 1 costs us another potential 3pts. Shocking attempt at a save.

Bring Spurs kid in next game or one of our own gk kids, Forde should not be making these errors still at his age!

How was that Ollie's fault? You watch the game?

Nothing wrong with the team he picked, decent subs.

Fordes fault all day long, penalty just added insult to injury.

@mfcjon: have to agree with you. I honestly thought IH was gonna do well with us but he is just full of excuses. This team is practically all his signings and although some of them are very good, yet again he has proved he is tactically inept. He is spending money that we don't have, and we'll get shafted on the FFP. He needs to walk now as anyone would be better. If he stays, we are going down end of. If he goes, we stand a small chance of staying up with this current squad, albeit forde and dunne should leave now

So we all lost so we're as we were.

What is with the people on this site. We beat forest and people are thinking we are all good and will end up mid table. We lose a game and then it's back to we're doomed and have no hope of avoiding relegation.

Still 2pts from safety, get a grip! 17 games left, that's 51pts to play for.

I can understand that he inherited a team. I know that "his" team haven't had long together.

But I can't get my head around how a manager with his supposed experience can't break down a ten man team .. Again! This is shocking. We have been crying out for a striker all season and here we are in feb still with an unproven Gregory, a second time around hof and a old boy fuller. We've got more midfielders than I can remember but our defence still leaks goals.

To be honest I don't think its the players I think holloway is confusing them or lost them compleatly. Either way one win at home since October is not on and the Bucks got to stop with him. I fear his time may be up. Question is how could be waiting in the wings??

Forde should never have been given a new contract in the summer - I've lost count of the amount of goals Forde has conceded in the past 2 seasons that have been hit right at him - people think he's great once he makes one or two great saves but the bad massively outweighs the good.

Drop Forde and give one of the other keepers a go things can't get much worse.

    Jimmy typical of him
Upson didn't realise he was on
    Cummings ?
Beevers ? Play him left back cause you have no choice fair enough but left is now available.
    Dunne ok
Guaye f*** knows what's up with him
    Forde f.u.c.k off
    Hoff look at Forde.
Fuller and Gregs maybe should have started
Ollie look at Forde and hoff.
Wether you like it or not we are down and every signing suggests so.
No idea today and even with eleven the result would have been the same.

I've defended Forde enough on here but a mistake is a mistake is a mistake. He's big enough and certainly ugly enough to stand up and take the flack. Dunne has also felt the wrath of supporters on here, a lot of the time unfairly.
But for once, can we all concentrate on the real culprit here.

Poor second half performance let us down today. Where the hell was the team spirit we had against Reading and Forest. Brighton slipped up today and we couldn't take advantage of it against 10 men. Forde cost us another goal and then the penalty as well just put the icing on the cake for them. We need to pick this up otherwise we are heading down and nobody wants to see that happen. The championship is where we should belong but the way we played in the second half today then you won't see us in the championship come the start of next season. Now I admire Ollie as a manager (most of you probably won't agree) and he is working his socks off to do as much as he can to keep this club in this division so you really cannot blame him for that second half performance, you have to blame the players for that. Yes we had a really bad January losing all but 3 games (2 draws and a win). Was it Ollies fault for our loss at Norwich? No it was the players. What about Bradford? Again it was the players fault not Ollies. You might blame the manager for today but I will give the players the blame again for the poor second half performance. I'm saying keep Holloway, let him and his new team build and lets keep believing that we will stay up. When he came in, he had all of the ginger t**ts leftovers and since then he has made the decisions on who to buy, who to sell and who to release. The signings in the summer have come in and done all they can. Gregory is improving (soon to be a goal threat) and Fuller has come in and done what he can. Yes he might be 35 but he has the experience of what we need up front and someone who can give Gregory help. We need another striker though and although Maierhofer scored today, that, in my mind, is still not good enough. We have had strikers who have gone on to better things. The likes of Sheringham, Morison, Kane and when he was good, Chris Wood. We need a striker who has the capability of finding the back of the net (Ollie whatever you do please don't go to Aston Villa to find a striker because they are struggling to score goals themselves). But i am glad we didn't get Varney or Church in because they really would not have helped at all seeing as they can't find the back of the net. If we can, I wouldn't mind getting Akpom in from Arsenal. Big call yes, but he looks like a striker who might just have what it takes to grab some goals to help us stay up. Also, we need an experienced goalie to provide Forde with competition for that No. 1 spot in goal. Someone like Brad Jones from Liverpool could be alright. He has played in the top flight and is experienced so why not get him? So we still need a GK and a ST then we should be ok if the striker can score some goals.

@lion.ie: It is the amount of effort he puts in and his never say die attitude. Every club he has been to he hasn't given up on anything and has always given 100% to everything he does. He always believes that the best will happen. Last season he came in and we weren't winning and looked dead and buried but he never gave up on us and he helped us stay up. Now we might be on a bad run but he is not giving up on us and he believes we can stay up. Yes today was disappointing and embarrassing but he will not give up and you have to remember that this team is still bonding together with the new signings in the team. We will just have to see what happens in these final games of the season.

are you saying you are now prepared to blame the players that holloway has bought in....it must be a desperate state of affairs if they are refusing to carry out his wishes, refuse his training and, wont play to his tactics lets give him another go and let him pick up another 11 players on loan for next week

    No it isn't holloway.

What I am saying is that we under performed in the second half and the team weren't as good as what we saw against Forest and Reading that was the disappointing thing about it. I said as well that it was the players fault at the Norwich and Bradford games. I can see where you are coming from in terms of me blaming the players but why would we blame Holloway. He done the business he could and I believe they are great signings he has done but I will blame the players for today. We didn't take advantage of them when they had 10 men and you can't put Holloway in the frame for the person to blame anyway. Forde was at fault for the second goal and Williams gave away the penalty leading to the third goal. So my overall opinion is yes today blame the players for not turning up for the second half and not taking advantage of 10 men
