Holloway wants home form revival to start against Terriers

IAN Holloway is targeting a revival in Millwall's home form after last weekend's away success at Nottingham Forest – starting with victory against Huddersfield tomorrow.

The Lions have struggled to pick up results at The Den for the past three-and-a-half seasons, winning just 24 of their last 83 Championship fixtures in SE16.

But having remodelled his squad during the January transfer window, Holloway is hopeful that Millwall can start picking up more points on home soil.

"I want our fans to be with us like they were in the last game," said Holloway. "The ones who went to Forest were making up songs about Diego Fabbrini and that's great for us.

"We've got a new team together, we haven't conceded a goal in 180 minutes and Jos Hooiveld has settled in straight away.

"The signs are good and hopefully the lads will get some belief back.

"It's all about us and the crowd, and making The Den a difficult place to come again. We haven't had good enough results at home for three years so we need to get that going.

"I'm really looking forward to Huddersfield because I believe we've started to turn the corner.

"Yes we needed to, and yes what happened in January was a huge statement, but the Bradford result has been turning a point.

"I refused to put up with that performance ever again from anybody. Was I shocked and surprised? Yes, and I've been decisive since then.

"Now we can look forward with a fresh energy, some fresh faces and stronger spirit."

We have not won at Home for over 3 months.
Our Home form over the last 3 years or so has been disgraceful.
A win tomorrow will put us with the pack.

I don't care how we get them or what the score is, as long as we get all 3 pts, another clean sheet & 2 or 3 goals with Greggs bagging a couple would be a bonus!! Mon u wall!!!!!!

    Things are on the up.
Will be a massive 3 points again tomorrow.
Hope we stick with them throughout and give any frustrations to the opposition,
    Up The Wall.

Credit has to go to the club for negotiating a complicated deal to bring Hooiveld to the Den, that really could have gone the way of so many other failed bids but they successful made the signing that may well keep us up. Well done Millwall.

I am quite confident of us making it 3 games undefeated tomorrow but seriously some of the comments on here are ridiculous. We have played much better the in the last 2 games but we are 3rd from bottom and haven't managed back to back wins since August yet you'd think we were in the top 6 how some people are going on!

The next 3 games are going to be bloody tough and I'd be over the moon with 5 points from them, it really frustrates me seeing some of these comments as you know as soon as it does go wrong, they'll be moaning and calling for Holloway's head again!

I have been very critical of holloway, i am still no fan but, these are now his choice of players, no more blame or excuses. It will be very tough , even Matty Lawrence said so on lions live last night!, So no more blaming from me, we are in this fight together and if holloway stops chopping and changing and allows the players to gel i feel we have a fighting chance. I just want us to fight and never give up like a Millwall team should, as i think we now have that extra bit of quality in Hoos, Fabbrini,Williams, Cummings ( when going forward) and Tonge, in the squad now.
