As it happened: Millwall 1-3 Ipswich Town

FOLLOW live team news and match action as Millwall face Ipswich Town.

Ian Holloway has promised widespread changes after Wednesday's defeat to Bradford, having lost patience with the under-performing players in his squad.

And four new signings – Diego Fabbrini, Shaun Cummings, Stefan Maierhofer and Dan Harding – could all start against Mick McCarthy's side.

This line up won't show us anything new. Only that after 12 months he doesn't know his starting XI and insists on playing formations that nobody understands. It wouldn't surprise me to see Dunne and Shittu at the back again.

... also, looking at the line up, Abdou is the only one whose contract expires at the end of this season, so we should assume he is the only player IH said played well on Wednesday and would be 'rewarded', presumably with a new contract.

Either 442 or 433 can be played with that selection, guessing that depends how the first 15 minuets go.

Probably the best squad that could be picked.I don't think anyone can wave a magic wand and create quality out of thin air but you would expect these players to fight for the cause. If there is not a response performance wise today (the result is secondary) things will be very bleak.Have we ever had a younger captain?

Well done Sid on being made captain for today I don't expect anything out of todays game as Ipswich are a good side and the fact that a few of our team probably only meet each other for the first time this week . Butt lets hope this is the start of the fixing process three points would be great but I want to see a good all round performance from players that care .

I cannot believe there are a number of fans who seem to think Holloway is good manager and come out with drivel such as "In Ollie We Trust". Oh yeah trust him to take our proud club down. Just because he has bought in a few new faces does not make him a good manager, how many games as he lost now? 19/20? Some people are always looking to excuse him, blaming the team and individuals, but not his rotten tactics and team selections and his inability to motivate. They are clutching at straws.
There is one perhaps now two people responsible, Holloway and a chairman who is unable to read between the lines. Get rid of Holloway.
