Video: Millwall and Bradford players brawl during cup tie

BRADFORD manager Phil Parkinson was sent to the stands after steaming into a mass brawl with Millwall players during Wednesday's FA Cup tie.

The incident, which you can see below, is likely to be investigated by the Football Association. Alan Dunne and David Forde were both booked for their involvement.

I'm amazed Forde didn't get sent off for that, very lucky!

He only got a yellow because even though he lined up to land him full in the face he flapped at him and missed.

Shame they don't show that passion and fight when the balls in play. If they did we wouldn't keep getting turned over!

That's the quickest i have ever seen Forde come off his line. That passion needs to be transferred when playing for the Badge.

@Eightieswall: Got to agree with you on that one, also what was Dunne doing fouling the player when the ball was going out for a throw in looked like a Sunday morning tackle (no offence to those who play on Sundays) he would not get in your sides anyway.

@Barnlion: He did it in revenge for a similar challenge by their player on Shittu which sent Shittu straight into the advertising boards less than 5 minutes before hand. Probably the only cheer a millwall shirt got all game..

I think the Bradford player should have been sent off for kicking it off and their #16, who Forde reacted to. Forde should definitely have gone. It looked like the Bradford coaches were just pulling players away TBH? Mental

... 9 against 9 would have produced a formation IH would not have used before (or perhaps not?)

It shows a desperate situation when this brawl is the highlight of Millwall's efforts, pathetic.

Once again shows how reckless dunn is its not rocket science to think the police and the fa didn't want us at Chelsea so we should have been smarter and given the already biased ref no ammunition for red cards and bookings .

@mfc2u: Yeah, it was mad to do that. A clear booking but the Bradford reaction was well over the top and how they didn't get at least one sent off says it all about Millwall and referees

There was a time when the likes of Phil Parkinson (when he was at Charlton) and Lee Clark (when he was at Huddersfield) would hate playing us, especially at the Den coz they knew exactly what they would get. A hostile crowd and a fully committed 'Wall team. It makes me feel sick to see these muppets taking the p!ss out of us now.
Our players get bullied by opposing teams home and away. Not one of them have a pair of b*****.
What was at stake last night? A game against Chelsea which would of seen the club make potentially half a million quid, not forgetting it was a quite a tasty local derby that the fans would of really enjoyed no matter what the score was.
No heart, no commitment, no passion...ABSOLUTELY f*** all.
Our players should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Not just for last night, but quite a few of there recent performances (as of which if you look back at the last 6 games, we've conceded 17 goals).
It was a nice touch by JB to reimburse the fans that went last night, but in all honesty Holloway and his players should of done that.

    Where are the match highlights?

I want to see the cutting edge football and numerous chances Millwall created.

What do you mean there weren't any?!!

Also (unless I missed it) where was the '5 things' we learnt from Blackpool? Based on the Bradford performance NAD had the foresight to realise nothing would be learnt so saved some time and didn't bother with the article.

@MFC Lion: FIVE THINGS WE LEARNT FROM BLACKPOOL.
1/ Need to book B&B for next season when we're both in League One.
      2/ Defence is still s***.
      3/ Holloway still tinkering.
4/ Playing one up front errr...doesn't work.
5/ Fuller showed some passion apparently by telling us all to f*** off.

I know we all wanted to go Chelsea away, but am I the only one who wants to stay in this division??? Yes it would have been a good day out but I would rather be in the championship than league 1

@rob hearn: the money from the Chelsea game would have gone a long way to finance that.

Plus it was the manor of the defeat, lack of passion and effort which really hurts. If the prospect of a day out at Chelsea doesn't fire these s*** players up what will?

@ ROB HEARN: what on earth are you thinking when you ask " are you the only one who wants us to stay in this division" . You will not find one millwall supporter that wants us to go down,, why do you think they're on here going mad, FFS ROB, don't ask silly questions .

This is going to be never ending what with JB saying he will finance new signings when I believe that we are already likely to have a transfer embargo next time round because of FFP rules. So the ones we sign now are likely to be the only ones we can make over this and the next window ! What with dwindling crowds and no sponsorship money to talk of we are really in the mire. Surely the kids are going to be the way forward or its just going to be a never ending cycle even if it means League 1 ( I really don't want that but its hard to see where else this is going). Even paying up contracts is going to cost us dear for 2 seasons because of FFP as that all counts - its going to be a hard long road but we will make it................... we have too . The worry over the current team pales into insignificance against the council selling the car park/lions centre land and Renewals motives! Thats the main issue and if we all loose sight of that (which i believe is far more important than what div we play in) we could end up loosing the club and that needs to be rammed home to everyone.

Clearly our own man set out to cause potential hurt there. Can't really defend it. Not being all health and safety, but you don't need to look far on the internet to see these challenges are grave. Forde is too old to act like a pumped up 18 year old.
