MILLWALL chairman John Berylson has offered a refund to the 456 fans who bought tickets in advance of last night's FA Cup replay against Bradford.

Berylson will take the extraordinary step of reimbursing supporters' £15 entry fee after the Lions were thumped 4-0 by the League One side.

A club statement said: "The chairman wishes to thank everyone for their continued support during difficult times and has pledged to facilitate further squad strengthening with a view to seeing results improve in the very near future."

Details of how fans can get their money back will be announced shortly.

Chief executive Andy Ambler added: "The chairman is trying to bring in new players and strengthen the squad.

"We need the fans to stick with us and the chairman is continuing to invest.

"We lost £8million last year and we're going to fail Financial Fair Play for this season but the chairman is continuing to spend money on new players to get results."

Mr B, the only strengthening you need to do is in the managerial department. Get someone in who will give our promising youngsters a decent chance.
