Preview: Bradford City vs. Millwall

MARK Beevers and Danny Shittu come back into contention for Millwall's FA Cup replay against Bradford City tonight.

Beevers was not risked at Blackpool on Saturday having only just returned to training after an ankle injury, but the centre back is now fully fit and in the squad.

Shittu, an unused substitute at Bloomfield Road, could also return to the starting line up.

Striker Lee Gregory made his return from a back injury as a second-half substitute against the Tangerines and will be hoping to start.

Ian Holloway cannot select new signings Dan Harding, Stefan Maierhofer and Shaun Cummings because they were not registered for the original tie 11 days ago.

Paris Cowan-Hall is cup-tied but has a calf problem anyway, while loanee Andy Wilkinson has been refused permission to play by parent club Stoke City.

Shaun Williams serves the third of a four-match ban. Nicky Bailey is two weeks away from returning to training but Carlos Edwards is a long-term absentee.

For Bradford, defender Andrew Davies could return but striker Billy Clarke is unlikely to be risked.

@junkmale: ... on the other hand at least there is the silver lining that he won't be playing as a centre half!

@junkmale: The only way that could possibly be worse would be if Shittu plays at right back...now there's a thought...

Beevers and Nelson are the best centre backs weve got Ollie needs to play them together every game and give Fordie a settled defence in front of him ....I suppose you have to play Dunne but only until Cummins takes over ....4-4-2 Ollie forget the mumbo jumbo tactics and get some confidence back

When Nelson made his debut,he played the latter part of the game at right back,he looked very composed playing their and linked up a few times with other players doing short passing to relieve pressure on the defence, playing there is a good shout by you.
Are you any thing to do with Barry Rowan or is that just co-incidence.

I knew him quite well he is a very good golfer i have played with him a couple of times, also he is a cab driver like myself.
Ask him about his goal against Fulham in the cup they had bobby robson cohen mullery and i think haynes not to sure about all their players as my memory is getting bad ,but we beat them 2-0 harper a passenger through injury scored and of course barry scored as well.
is harry's bar where he goes,as i have not seen him foe a while would be nice to say hello.

    I'd go with:

    King
    Jimmy, Nelson, Beevers, Briggs
    Martin, Powell, Upson, Woolford
    Gregory, Gueye

If anyone remembers when Jimmy played at right back against Forest when Edwards got injured, I thought he played quite well that day and on a one-off basis he could do the job.

Not keen on Chaplow or McDonald to start hence my midfield and I just want to see Holloway pick Gueye and get him up front!

    Come on you Lions!!

Please stop bickering ! a supporter is a supporter . How many games they go to - where and when is actually not really important. Some people live close and have money to spend - some don't. Some live far away and don't have money to spend - some do. Does it make there opinion less valid - I think not.
Agree to disagree fine -but why the abuse ........................... Life is too short boys and its all a bit sad....... Its all getting a bit playground like some other forums . Just hope we win tonight , I don't agree with those worrying about a cricket score against Chelsea we need the money and if it helps us pay some of the deadwood off its fine by me.
