STEPHEN Bywater's contract with Millwall has been cancelled.

The goalkeeper was told before the start of the season that he had no long-term future with the club and subsequently joined Gillingham on loan.

But the 33-year-old was sent back prematurely by the League One outfit and has been spending recent weeks back training with the Lions.

Bywater, who was the first signing made by ex-manager Steve Lomas, was named on the bench for Millwall's game at Blackpool last weekend but has now departed the club.

@sjk1768: Dunne, not so sure. Bailey (Sicknote) he can f*ck off. Fuller, IH has a point, he has passion and is the closest we have to a striker if we're being honest!

@Brooks88: Dunne gets found out week after week, he ain't championship level, baily can only play 6 games a season, but agree he can't go anywhere, as for fuller we can get rid and buy a better forward surely!!! Looks like we're playing 3-5-2 tonight? Surely not!
