      Transfer Rumours:
Apparently we're trying to sign Bradley Wright-Philips from New York red bulls!
Lloyd Dyer! From Watford!, there's no updates on the transfer front coz there hard at work resurrecting the deal for Ben Pringles, they've accepted £175k?? Just personal terms to resolve, we are also trying for Chris Wood, and might get him if Kramamic's work permit gets sorted............discuss!

And I've heard that Rotherham have accepted a £175k bid from us for Pringle...........they would be good signings but would like to see a good CB come in as well

Lazy journalism in my opinion. However, a good signing. I think a decent centre half (loan possibly for someone who is out of contract in the summer with view to perm?) as can't see us having the money at the moment to fork out on a decent one.

What's the betting the new boys on the bench and he picks that sack of s*** comical defending dunne?

Ollie to Ambler: 'Do we say he's injured or unfit? I think the fans might be cottoning on to the facts now Andy. Thats over 21 times I've used it this season' >reply 'No, don't worry Ollie, do the usual, tell him everyone's part of the rotational squad and teach him how he must only stay in specific parts of the field and trackback continually. We'll tell all the idiots, he's unfit at the start, then when he plays a blinder, we'll say he's got a slight calf issue'

DROP THIS ROTATIONAL RUBBISH AND PLAY OUR BEST PLAYERS IN THEIR BEST POSITIONS. YOU ARE SO SCARED OLLIE, THAT YOU PLAY 2 SWEEPERS IN FRONT OF THE DEFENCE. BOTTLEJOB. THATS WHY HE PLAYS 1 UP FRONT. DUNNE HOOFS, MACDONALD 5 YARD BACKWARDS PASSES, FULLER CANT LIFT HIS KNEES ABOVE HIS BELLY BUTTON. WAKE UP. BRING BACK POWELL TOO. OLLIE THE SCARED CLOWN

Getting bored with the constant abuse of Dunne - he may not be the player he should have become when he first broke into the first team , but he cares which in my book counts him better than half our squad. He should never have been made captain - but would you turn it down if offered it in the same situation ? I'm not even saying he should be in the team but it seems that he is just an easy target because he doesn't throw his dummy or complain.

just about - I am no fan of Dunne - he gets caught out of position and has no distribution but you have to feel sorry for him ; he has a different partner every time he plays CB - hopefully cummings will mean he doesn't have to worry about being full back - problem is , if we play him with nelson they will get bullied in the air

@n3lion: aiden o'brien's not all that. I don't think so anyway. I just think the fact that he's a youngster sugarcoated him. I don't dislike him, i actually rather like him, but he's just not good enough and I don't think he ever will be. He's not got the pace or power to alarm a defence, and I don't think he has the skill to make things happen for himself. Currently a league two player with league one potential in my eyes

When he came on against birmingham , he looked good to me he started to pull their back four around with his movement and he teamed up well with gregory ,his flick on to gregory led to greggs scoring a well worked goal ,in my view he should have been given more of a chance since.
Also with the birmingham game obrien and greggs definatly had the better of the brum defence untill our defence let us down yet again.
I think you are being a bit unfair about o'brien

I suppose that must mean that I'm not a proper supporter for not going to every game?! This shows just how backward some of our fans are!

It's pretty f****** childish if you ask me! Plus even if I had nothing more important to do I still would go and watch that sack of s*** every single game. Some of us do work!

He is signing players who will hopefully help us get out of this dire state and push us up the table.

      @timchimes:
I saw their pitch on the football league show Saturday night when they lost at home to Rochdale and it was looking really rough so as you say with the coming forecast an aerial battle surely.
They also had their keeper sent off so he wont be playing tomorrow.
Set up nicely for the Hoff's return I reckon.

Bearing in mind the weather and the state of the pitch ,a long ball heading battle is on the card's.
I bet he put's mc donald up front on his own and gives fuller and the hof a well earned rest.

this is what is at stake tomorrow

    from a Chelsea site:
"I have to say my night was a carbon copy of Super Luca's. His posts could have been written by me. We also got there early and it was sheer mayhem. Basically if you were walking up the OKR towards the away end you were getting battered. It seemed like on every corner of every street, and in the entrance ways in to any of the estates round there, there was a small mob waiting. Most of these groups were 20-50 strong and it looked like they were all mates from the estates. As I said earlier anyone who was walking the wrong direction (towards Ilderton Road) or who just didn't look right was getting done. I saw at least two sets of ours getting battered. In one case there was only three of them and this mob of 30 or so just rushed over from the other side of the OKR totally surrounded them and gave 'em a total kicking. In the carnage one bloke got away and got chased onto a routemaster and got done on there instead. At that time of the night there were only small groups of Chelsea trying to get to the ground and we were totally outnumbered and not mobbed up at all.

When we arrived at the OKR we were at a junction and didn't know which way to go (first trip to Millwall, we were just teenagers up from Surrey). It was already out of control by then. I sidled up to this Old Bill who was standing in some kind of forecourt and very quietly asked him which direction the away end was in. He barely acknowledged me and just moved his head and eyes enough for me to see which way he was suggesting as he whispered this classic: "It's that way. Don't stand near me."

There was four of us and we split up, two on each side of the road and twenty feet between the two on the same side. Then we walked up the OKR trying to look like we were out for a stroll and not interested in any match that might be happening in that area, eyes to the ground most of the time. The hatred was unreal that night. Somehow we all made it to Ilderton Road in one piece and we got back together on the same side of the road as we turned the corner. Just as we turned we very luckily came up behind four coppers because at that moment this nasty little mob of about 20-30 came round the corner in the other direction. I walked right up behind the nearest copper. Practically had my chin on his back as we passed through the mob. They were giving it the "you Chelsea c**ts", "f**cking Chelsea w**kers" and all that as they gobbed on us. Anyway, we got through them and I turned round to my mates and said: "f**k me that was close" and as I said it I realised all three of them had blood dripping from noses or split lips. They'd all taken a few punches as the mob passed by.

Once in the ground I would agree with Melbourne. I also thought we were about 3000 strong. Have to say though that this was without doubt the quietest away support I experienced in that era. Barely sang a song all night long. The whole game was watched in near silence. It was eerie and so different to the boisterous, p*** taking away mobs we used to have back then.

A further perspective might be given by others who were with our main mob. I heard they marched down all the way from the Elephant, about 600 of them, a very, very good firm and well up for it. But, apparently, by the time they got there Wall were inside. (Anyone confirm that?)

I think there's a lot to be said about what time you got there that night as to what experience you had. I wouldn't have missed it for the world but I'm not sure I'd want to do it again. That walk up to Ilderton Road was about the longest of my life. Great memories though."

just read on the official site that none of our new signings are eligible, so dunne at right back, and as much as i like young nelson, i would like to see webster, shittu or beevers as cb's, has nelson played left back? strong in the tackle which is more than i've seen from briggs IMO. as tomorrow night will be a battle.

Nelson moved to right back on his debut ,he looked more comfortable there as the game went on.

A whole day gone on NAD without some statement from Holloway
saying he needs his own players,
or a player signed or released, or contract terminated.
Has he been shot or the club folded or something?

    Interesting facup stat for tonight
Ollie took Plymouth to 1/4s in 2007
But has only won 3 3rd round ties since.
Lazy journalism lads I know but thought I'd give you's a bit of nothing news as we had nothing yesterday.

Luke as things are a bit light on the news front ,lets be a little light hearted.
What is facup? is it the state millwall are in at the moment ,or just a lack of space on your part. LOL

Paris Cowan-Hall, Dan Harding, Stefan Maierhofer and Shaun Cummings are ineligible for the Championship side.
Looks like Fuller will be starting then...
