Cowan-Hall's Millwall debut to be delayed by calf problem

PARIS Cowan-Hall's Millwall debut is likely to be delayed by up to two weeks after he sustained a minor calf injury in training.

The winger will not travel to Blackpool for tomorrow's crunch clash with the Seasiders and is likely to miss next Saturday's home game against Ipswich.

It's understood the new signing, who joined from Wycombe Wanderers just last week, picked up the problem following an accidental collision.

Boss Ian Holloway told the club's official site: "It's a blow for Paris because he was eager to get out there and make his debut.

"He has looked very sharp in training so I'm disappointed for him and for us.

"It is nothing other than bad luck but thankfully it shouldn't be a long one and we can look forward to having him back sooner rather than later."

So he was terrorising Beevs and Beevs has crippled him! Ideal! The list of players who have been injured during training for us this year is ridiculous, I've never known anything like it! Apart from Arsenal of course!

This sounds about right. We sign someone who looks half decent and they get injured before they've even kicked a ball. What's the betting this injury turns into something more serious and he miss's the rest of the season!
    Fu#king joke!

They still don't wear any shin pads when training. If you are going to put in a serious training session you have to make it as realistic as possible so WEAR SHIN PADS - YOU WILL GET KICKED!

This manager is a f****** idiot! He's obviously doing fomething wrong in training as every new player gets injured on arrival. Why doesn't he change something? Got to be a bit thick really.

can't help agree with these thoughts - it is just not good enough - not professional - how much training does he needs to do - he is match fit - why do training which risks these injuries at this point - a definition of intelligence is the ability to learn from mistakes ............................................... well !!

Does IH need to look at our training regime ,this season we have had a large number of strain injuries,it is not just our club that has this problem,i cannot recall which ,but one premiership club is looking at its training method's,to the point of changing some of its medical people, this latest problem with Paris just about top's every thing.

Haven't we got new training pitches..this was suppose to bring down the injuries ..well it is not working ffs..also saw a stat that millwall are top of the league for commiting fouls ( about 441)..dont mind that but you dont have to kick the crap out of your own aswell

I don't fking believe it we have him for 5mins and he's injured already, still he'll have plenty of time to get well with the obligatory 4-6 weeks sitting on the bench.

Absolutely unbelievable ! What is going on in training, lots of fans bought away tickets to Blackpool to see Paris play, and we find like so many others they've signed, become injured . No Wonder Fans are Fed - Up! ( NOLU, WDC ).

@BUSHWACKER14: plus its not 100% that the hof will play either..depends on international clearance..so we might not see any new signings at blackpool brilliant

We normally pick up a couple of injuries during the week when we don't even play so I'm not surprised. Suppose Paris felt it would be good to get his turn in early and not feel left out.

Typical, why does it only happen at Millwall? Now we only want the Hof not to get his clearance then we are back to square one. Not only that Millwall have just shoved Easter out. A comic cuts management.
