Cowan-Hall's Millwall debut to be delayed by calf problem

PARIS Cowan-Hall's Millwall debut is likely to be delayed by up to two weeks after he sustained a minor calf injury in training.

The winger will not travel to Blackpool for tomorrow's crunch clash with the Seasiders and is likely to miss next Saturday's home game against Ipswich.

It's understood the new signing, who joined from Wycombe Wanderers just last week, picked up the problem following an accidental collision.

Boss Ian Holloway told the club's official site: "It's a blow for Paris because he was eager to get out there and make his debut.

"He has looked very sharp in training so I'm disappointed for him and for us.

"It is nothing other than bad luck but thankfully it shouldn't be a long one and we can look forward to having him back sooner rather than later."

@the verminhater: he probably ran into Shittu.

He's only out for 2 weeks so though it'd frustrating it's not as bad as when Edwards picked up his injury for example.

@millwallchris74: They must be a lot more physical in training than they are on the pitch on Saturdays?
