Preview: Watford vs. Millwall

ALAN Dunne is available for selection again after serving a one-match ban.

The Millwall captain missed last weekend's 1-0 win over Cardiff through suspension but could make an immediate return to the back four at Vicarage Road.

Scott Malone (thigh) and Matthew Briggs (calf) are both injury doubts, meaning Mark Beevers could slot in at left back.

Magaye Gueye and Angel Martinez could be included on the bench after proving their fitness in training.

Nicky Bailey (calf) and Carlos Edwards (knee) remain sidelined with injury.

Watford expect to be without Heurelho Gomes (groin), Almen Abdi (shoulder) and Gabriele Angella (ankle), but striker Troy Deeney could make his first start after injury.

Keep Danny in the side he is stronger than Dunne.

Forde-Wilkinson Shittu Webster Beavers- Williams Upson- Woolford McDonald Martin- Gregory. I know I'm going to get shot down for this but I think we need to be defensive minded against Watford even more so now Deeney is fit. We need to get hold of the ball and get them to chase us for the 1st hour or their pace will destroy us Once we've done that bring on Fuller now with a weeks rest behind him he be roaring to go. Sorry Dunney but I think he will be a weak link and would be exposed far to easily against a quick attacking team who can also knock the ball long.

Got to stick with Shittu, just hope his pace wont let him down as deeney and vydra are quick. They seem to think we are a long ball outfit and cant pass water. Got a feeling Martinez may play, with him and Williams they might be in for a shock.

For the superstitious fans among us, it is an interesting statistic Watford have not won any of their last seven games against Ian Holloway-managed sides:

    22nd August 2010 - Watford 2-2 Blackpool
    23rd January 2011 - Blackpool 3-2 Watford
    17th December 2011 - Blackpool 0-0 Watford
    6th April 2012 - Watford 0-2 Blackpool
    8th February 2013 - Watford 2-2 Crystal Palace
    27th May 2013 - Crystal Palace 1-0 Watford
    12th April 2014 - Millwall 2-2 Watford

@DiggerWall: I think a few bods are going in the spoons for 11. Start as you mean to go on and all that. There is one right outside the ground but home supporters only and its a proper carzhi. Last year on boxing day we couldn't get a beer in the ground so don't think about having one before the game just in case they don't serve us booze again. NOLU WDC
