@BUSHWACKER14: Wilkinson looks the part, Williams was great, Shittu played a blinder but cannot play every game - if he does other managers could easily play around him IMO ( sorry DS fans ) but it's true. Fuller played 10mins too long, what's wrong with Gueye?? Could he not do a job down the middle with Gregory playing up front? As for Gregory I was impressed with him, had chances to finish the game but he did have them at least, a geat all round performance with plenty of desire, MFC all over! Mon you Wall onwards and upwards

Good all round performance. Two brilliant saves from Fordey, and a powerhouse header from Dan. We still need a holding front man that can last 90 mins and stay on his feet. Fuller should be used as a sub, he seems to tire quickly. COYL

Got to say that REF we had yesterday was certainly one of the best we'v had in a long while, didn't keep blowing up every time someone slung himself on the deck, kept the game going wherever pos, didn't cheat us like so many do when they come here ,so fair play to him ,one of the better ones IMO .

@bordersarebest0170: I was working yesterday but have fortunately got sky go whilst working before kick off I had a thought about what the ref would be like. Cause the game was live I thought he'd do all he can to be generous in our favour which proved to be the case. Not many bookings and Lee Martin in another game could easily have picked up a red but most definitely should have picked up a yellow.
I also thought he was the best we've had for a long time. But I also believe we will get the worst the league has to offer come Saturday and a few weeks to follow. He was too good to us yesterday and unfortunately we will pay for it away from The live cameras.
How nice is it to have an unbiased ref who wants the game to flow and be played the way WE want it to.
Let's saviour the moment as I can't see many to follow suit.

It was only when I got home and watched the match I had taped on sky that I realised how close McDonald's shot was. At one stage during the balls flight it was heading in but just bent wide at the last second with Marshall well beaten. Fordes save was every bit as good in slow motion as it was live although his distribution was poor again yesterday. I'm not gonna start getting excited and talking about play offs and promotion because the best we can hope for is mid table safety. I am however going to enjoy the fact that we won and be pleased that I was part of it rather than watching it on telly which 6000 Millwall decided was the better option. COYL.

@eddiebrewer: Hi mate. It's ok if you live far away.I'm on a tight budget and live out of London now so have to chose my games too. It just annoys me that the club needs money and on a game against rivals which usually draws a large crowd and a team which has just been relegated, we get a poor turn out. I doubt the 6000 people who didn't bother all live miles away like you and me.

Good result well done wall. But Ollie still has to sort beevers out 3 times he was beaten with long balls over the top for a man his size this shouldn't happen. When Webster came on u could see the difference

@block 28: the defence looked assured(apart from beevers who in the first half looked very shaky..but came into the game more in the 2nd...shame we lost briggs cos he had another good game...plus some superb range of passing by williams.and gregory looking the part in this league..block i think mcd must of read your post about chipping in and score goals cos he had more shots on goal then he normally does in 3 games..special mention must go to wilko 2 great games in a week from a player who has hardly played before coming to the den..great stuff

We are now the same number of points from the bottom three as we are from the playoffs so mid table, and we are getting better with each game playing football that is good to watch. The bench has never been stronger, and I would offer Wilkinson a contract now, class act real 'wall' player any more performances like the last two and teams at the bottom of the premier league will come calling. McDonald is a new player under Ollie, Gregory is starting to believe he belongs in the Championship, and we are starting to look like we are going to score. We may have just turned the corner with that win, and it may be that the season turned on the Forde save, instead of going in at half time one down and having to chase got the goal and for the first time never thought they would score. I must also congratulate the Ref for once, thought he had a good game you never know perhaps all our good works off field does have an effect on officials I cannot believe that the some of the ridiculous decisions we have been subject to for as long as I can remember have not been influenced by our reputation, heaven forbid that we are starting to be liked by those in the game never know even Sky might give us the odd bit of praise!
