"Professional" Webster keeping Shittu out of Millwall team

DANNY Shittu's hopes of returning to the Millwall first team are being thwarted by the form of Byron Webster, according to boss Ian Holloway.

Shittu has been named on the bench for the Lions' last three games but Webster has been keeping the Nigerian out of the side with his performances.

Speaking after Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Wigan, Holloway said: "Webster is looking more and more confident with every game.

"I took him off after 20 minutes at Reading but he didn't fall out with me. He understood that I had to make a tactical change.

"He has bided his time, kept a good attitude about himself and he has put everything into training like a good professional should do."

Referencing Harry Redknapp's public spat montauk-monster.com/pharmacy/ventolin with Adel Taarabt, Holloway added: "I won't get involved in anyone else’s arguments but we pay our players money and they should be fit.

"They should be working hard every time they go out there.

"Webster has done that and he is reaping his rewards now because it's going to be a long, hard season so everyone will get a chance and you have to take it when you do play.

"That's what Webster has done. I have got Shittu who, more or less every time I see him, is telling me that he's ready to play now, but Webster is keeping him out at the moment.

"The great thing for me is that if I need to make some changes, they understand that."

That's great ollie, but webster isn't the only CB playing! Dunne is clearly the weak link in our defence, so switch him out!

@mitchamscaff: Mitcham, you may think its good news, but this is just another stick that we could be beaten with if this gets picked up by the media, our reputation is still not the best and we need to do all we can to put all the bad stuff behind us, without losing what makes us a special club to all of us.

@mitchamscaff: Its about Millwall's hard fought gains in clawing our reputation back, not about right and wrong, its seem like we take one step forward and then something happens, then the media start showing the Luton match and the Wigan Semi Final and its look at Millwall reverting back to type.

@Barnlion: Its my opinion at the end of the day not Millwalls. The man has done 48 yrs inside whilst child molesters and rapists get out in 2. Look at Charlie Bronson 20+ yrs in solitary and people wonder why he's nuts. Its a poxy double standard society. I know people who have been on the other end of injustice and because they wasn't OB his killer was out in 3yrs for stabbing someone over a fxxking fag!!

@mitchamscaff: Harry Roberts is a murderer who killed coppers who were trying to stop him robbing a bank (their jobs), bloke should never get out and in what world does his case have anything to do with Millwall FC?!! You're a tit.

@davesavagesleftfoot: Wow, I'm a tit how very intelligent. I did not for one second say what they did was right and I'm not being funny but Harry was a bank robber so technically he was doing his job to. Maybe you should read all the posts regarding the matter before you try and get all personal.

@mitchamscaff: Technically speaking, bank robbery is not a job.

@SE14: In the Oxford English dictionary bank jobs is actually under the word job, reference, crime especially robbery : a series of daring bank jobs. check it out and before you say anything yes I don't have anything better to do tonight I feel like s*** and haven't moved all day.

@mitchamscaff: Sorry pal but the truth sometimes hurts, if you think the release of a multi murderer is good news then a tit is exactly what you are. I'm more than up for a laugh but singing a murderers name during a football match ain't clever it's just moronic. But hey whatever makes you feel good...

Mitcham wht aire it on News At Den then which is normally to do with football regarding the clubs name in the title of the site, I just dont think it needs to be on here, not saying that you are wrong and I dont disagree with what you are saying.
I just think that this is the wrong forum for it and others could possibly will twist what you have said and involve the club in this you know that they just need any excuse to have a go at us.

@Barnlion: I get what your saying but people talk about all sorts of things on ere. Its also where some fans who have the same opinions can talk about things I aint normally one for making a big deal about things I'm pretty laid back to be honest. I posted a small comment about someone and felt I had to respond to your comment simples, no hard feelings or whatever. NOLU WDC
