Millwall midfielder Chaplow wary of "dangerous" Wigan

RICHARD Chaplow has warned his Millwall teammates not to expect an easy ride against out-of-form Wigan tonight.

The midfielder says the Lions risk getting "stung" if they aren't at their best when they travel to the DW Stadium, where boss Uwe Rosler is under increasing pressure to get results.

The Latics' big-money squad has not won a game since August and there are claims Rosler is fighting to save his job after his side's recent poor form.

"They are looking to get a result for their manager at the minute so I am sure they will be as desperate for three points as we are," Chaplow said.

"It's going to be a tough game and that is always the case in the Championship when you have a long trip on a Tuesday night after a Saturday game.

"We need to out-run and out-gun them.

"Wigan will be a dangerous team at the minute because they are due a result and if we go down there thinking they'll be this or that then we'll get stung.

"We have to go there with our eyes wide open because they have some very good players."

Chaplow says Millwall are in a positive mood following their weekend draw with Wolves.

"It was a bizarre game," he said.

"We didn’t deserve to be 3-0 down at any point but we probably didn't deserve to be losing winning either – there wasn't much in the game.

"To be 3-0 down and come back almost feels like a victory and it's a great result in the end.

"It keeps us ticking over and gives us a bit more belief to take into the Wigan game."

Well usually when we play teams on a winless streak we're the ones who oblige. Let's change that tonight please.

Forde-Wilkinson, Webster, Beavers, Briggs- Martin, Chaplow, Malone, Mcdonald, O'Brien, Gregory for tonight please. If we go ahead bring on Jimmy for one of the CM and bring on Fuller for the last half hour what ever happens to keep him sharp and ready for the weekend. 1-2 Martin 1st goal boom! NOLU WDC
