LEE Gregory says he has fully recovered from a hip problem after coming through 90 minutes for Millwall's U21s unscathed.
Gregory featured for the development squad in a 2-1 defeat by Leeds United on Monday as he made his return from injury.
The striker had several chances to score but found Leeds' goalkeeper in determined mood.
He said: "My injury was a funny one – at first we thought it was my groin, but it turned out to be my hip. That turned out to be better because there wasn’t a tear in my muscle.
"We think it was to do with the hard ground and my hip just locked up, causing a bit of pain in my groin.
"I have taken a few days off training and had a lot of treatment on it, so it was good to get some game time on Monday.
"I was so pleased to get back on the pitch because I have not had enough minutes this year. I was told that I could come off whenever I wanted to but I felt good so I stayed on.
"It was brilliant to get a run out and I was unlucky not to score.
"But it was one of those games where I could have been there for hours and not scored, whereas on another day I’d have got two of three goals."
