MILLWALL have announced that winger Lee Martin will be out until mid-October with a knee injury.

Martin underwent a scan after tweaking his ligaments in training this week.

The 27-year-old will miss Saturday's clash against former club Ipswich Town and the Lions say he will not be involved again until after the next international break.

That means Martin could miss six games.

Big blow for the team. Completely different player from last year. Never stopped running at Fulham. Also gutted that Ollie sees Easter as the best alternative. Hope I'm wrong and he smashed a couple in today but I don't rate him.
Still in Ollie I trust. Up the wall!!!

@bigC: Same player if you ask me a handfull of excellent performances with months out injured. I wonder how badly these blokes realy are injured compared to players of 30 years ago when you went the whole season with about 15 players ....... Whimps the lot of em.

@conor: agree, we're like a retirement home nowadays, gone are the days when we had loads of youngsters in the team!
Can't understand why these super fit athletes get injured so easy and take so long to heal
