Holloway wants to continue Millwall "march" at Ipswich

MILLWALL must "keep marching forward" when their league campaign resumes at Portman Road this weekend, boss Ian Holloway has said.

The Lions went into the international break sitting fifth in the Championship table after claiming ten points from their first five games.

And Holloway is eager for his troops to maintain their strong start to 2014-15 with another positive result against Ipswich Town tomorrow.

"Hopefully we can keep marching forward and continue to get some decent results," he said.

"Once you start to get them, there's no reason why they should stop. You should learn all the time and we’ve got to learn how to manage games and situations.

"Against Blackpool we had seven men in advance of the ball and we took a pot-shot after putting together a move with 28 passes in it.

"We dragged them left, right and centre and if we’d done that another three or four times we'd have scored a goal comfortably, rather than leaving ourselves open to a counter-attack.

"I think we're getting there. The big difference I want to bring to the club is the mentality: what we expect, what we’re going to do and how we’re going to behave.

"Who's to say we can’t do something special this season?"

Yes ,breaks in the season are a real pain in the a***. It so dull during that time, I hope we can smash a early goal to regain the momentum and put ipbitch on the back foot. I also hope that you blokes will barrack with polite applause and acknowledge good play from the opposition, also put ya rubbish in the bins provided and practice responsible drinking!
