CHAIRMAN John Berylson is said to be recovering well after successful knee replacement surgery.

Berylson had scheduled the operation back in July and went under the knife last Friday.

And chief executive Andy Ambler has confirmed that Millwall's American owner is recovering well from the procedure.

“It went well, as fas as I know,” Ambler said. “My understanding is he is recovering well.

“He had a replacement knee, which we knew was coming, and he’s doing well.

“He can’t travel now for a few weeks, but he will be following all the games on a link that we have for him so he can watch the team."

Ambler also revealed that Berylson intends to return to The Den in little over a month for a game both he and the chairman are looking forward to.

“He was hoping to be here for the return of Kenny Jackett on October 18. That’s his target.”

Clearly it's a bit of a slow news day! Having said that, get well soon JB. We usually play better when you're in attendance.

As another yank who follows the team from across the pond, I wish JB would share this 'link' to all of the games. Would be nice if fans could actually watch the games, even if we had to pay for it.

@tallchap18: It goes to prove some on here dont read what is actually wrote on the post,or if they do they cant put two and two together.
What chance do they have of writing sense when it come's to football.

@benzo: I'd like to. Long ways from California though. Would be hard to make the midweek games.
