CHAIRMAN John Berylson is said to be recovering well after successful knee replacement surgery.
Berylson had scheduled the operation back in July and went under the knife last Friday.
And chief executive Andy Ambler has confirmed that Millwall's American owner is recovering well from the procedure.
“It went well, as fas as I know,” Ambler said. “My understanding is he is recovering well.
“He had a replacement knee, which we knew was coming, and he’s doing well.
“He can’t travel now for a few weeks, but he will be following all the games on a link that we have for him so he can watch the team."
Ambler also revealed that Berylson intends to return to The Den in little over a month for a game both he and the chairman are looking forward to.
“He was hoping to be here for the return of Kenny Jackett on October 18. That’s his target.”
