Just a flat performance.. Happens to everyone at some point. Need a big performance against blackpool. Gregory HAS to start.. need a up beat high tempo good movement game and more importantly goals..

Apart from yesterday, we have had a great start to the season, but the Rotherham game I can't recall been any highlights, just rephrase it to lowlights!!!

Watching those highlights is painful – I must have honestly blocked out of my mind how bad a goal that was! Onwards and upwards boys – let’s lift the blues with a win over Southampton and Blackpool, ever the optimist

@conor: I know I expected a bigger crowd as well.

@Geoff the lion: agreed. Rather travel the country with 10 Millwall fans than 10,000 of any other club.

A good performance against southampton irrespectve of the result is crucial.because it will not only give the fans a much needed boost.it will also put the players in rhe right frame of mind for the more important game next saturday..and if we do beat the saints we might get a bigger attendance.

@Jim28: spot on Jim, gotta keep doing things better and keep building. Hopefully more fans will make their way to the games , the noise at Fulham was incredible, if the boys can't get themselves up with that sort of support behind them then were all f*****!!!

Looks like it's not just the team that don't turn up for the so called lesser teams. Other clubs manage the same attendances whoever they are playing. I am not talking about fans that hav to make long trips to the den.

Ever the optimist, but if you analyse our games this season we are gonna be in another relegation dogfight this campaign. As noted on all postings we need a proven goalscorer, easier said than done with our finances. I personally think we are too good to go down, but that thought will not keep us up.

@wallchef: i dont know about a dogfight to stay up.(hope not).but thing you can safely say is that you can rule out a push for the top six.cos no team has ever gone up without a goalscorer.
